Rest In Peace History will always remember Colonel Bacha Hundé and his colleagues for the stupendous display of air superiority they had demonstrated over the invading Somalian forces of the 1970s. It was the team work of Colonel Bacha and his colleagues who decimated the fighting power of the enemy forces in the sky as well as on the ground. Thank you for your devotion and determination in protecting and defending Ethiopia sovereignty and territorial integrity from the enemy, by shattering the dreams of Mohammed Siad Barre’s myths of creating “Greater Somalia.”you and others always remain in our memories. We would like to posthumously thank you and others who passed away for your services. May God rest your souls in peace. To those who are still alive thank you too for your services as well as for becoming a role model and inspirational to the young generation of pilots who are following your footsteps.
