山中湖に旅行した際に、北口本宮冨士浅間神社にも訪れました。

When I traveled to Lake Yamanaka, I also visited Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine.
北口本宮冨士浅間神社は富士山の世界遺産の構成の一つです。
Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine is one of the components of the Mt. Fuji World Heritage Site.
長く続く参道は石灯籠に導かれるように大鳥居に続いています。
The long approach leads to the large torii gate, guided by stone lanterns.
大鳥居を潜ると隨神門が目の前に現れます。
When you pass through the large torii gate,
the Zuishinmon gate will appear in front of you.
次に現れるのは神楽殿です。こちらも国の重要文化財に指定されています。
The next thing that appears is the Kagura Hall.
This is also designated as a national important cultural property.
手水舎では、龍の口から富士の湧き水が流れています。
At the Chozuya, Fuji spring water flows from the mouth of the dragon.
湧き水で手水したところ、とても冷たいですが、心地よく感じました。
I washed my hands in the spring water,
and although it was very cold, I felt comfortable.
拝殿の奥には金色の扉が見え、それが本殿になります。
The golden door visible at the back of the shrine is the main shrine.
富士山太郎坊と烏天狗のお面も飾られています。
It is a mask of Mt. Fuji Tarobo and Karasu Tengu.
また、本殿の左右に、東宮と西宮があります。
To the left and right of the main shrine are
the East Shrine and the West Shrine.
境内には富士山の北口（吉田口）登山道の起点があります。
This is the starting point of the north route (Yoshida route) of Mt. Fuji.
浅間神社を訪れて、いつか富士登山にも是非チャレンジしたいと思いました。
After visiting Sengen Shrine,
I decided that I would like to try climbing Mt. Fuji someday.
