This song always brings me back to a time when I was 15 or 16 years old. I had just finished a 2 tab acid trips with 2 ''friends'' of mine at the time and they both pretty much just ditched me as soon as we were all sober enough to function properly, said their dad wanted them home or some bullshit. This was after telling me before that they would stay and help me clean the house that we trashed since my parents were away and I wasn't even meant to be at the house while they were gone I was meant to be at my uncle's. I remember needing to clean the entire house including my friend's vomit while coming off of acid and being on a time schedule to get the last bus coming back to my uncle and whilst I was doing that and especially when I was walking to the bus stop I had this very strong feeling of abandonment and emptiness, like I was going to be on my own and had to always be able to be able to rely on myself to handle situations. I don't remember it well enough unfortunately but I remember it being a very special unique feeling in the moment.
