These demos are crucial to understanding the less-than-intuitive interface on these plotters. Thanks for posting this, B&G. Just got a Vulcan 7 installed and we're trying to wrap our heads around using it in the Chesapeake.

That was very helpful, these plotters are so much better than people realise. The boomers who buy these can really benefit from tutorials such as these.

Are the boat details used anywhere else important? Specifically the draft? I have a catamaran with a 1.15m draft but would prefer to never go shallower than 3 meters during easy routing. What is the best way to set this?

Michael. Have you ever had an issue with route display as follows? The route line often appears when a saved route is selected, but sometimes it does not. I feel I have tried all combinations of display options but can't reliably get the route to display. If a route is started it often does not display but still provides the route data such as bearing and distance to waypoint and transitions to the new waypoint correctly at the previously set distance from the waypoint. The routes are often race courses around 5-6 beacons with a length of about 15ml. The track always dispays if display is selected. I am up to date with the software. I look forward to your assistance.

@@BandG i would like to see more tutorials, not the usual quick B&G, music driven, “feature walk-thoughs”. I want to see real how-to-use, narrated function/features videos, at a learning pace.
