I bought one. Absolutely awesome value for money. Puts to shame MUCH more expensive tools. Feels sturdier than many Leatherman models.

Awesome review as always Doc. I loved being deployed and spending all money on toys too!!! It was so nice not having to be worried about paying rent or grocery money etc. Toys, alcohol, and women. Have a great one Doc!

I have been using one for a year now, not this exact model but very similar. It has survived a year of daily use on a farm, so its a good option. It has some rust, the handles are scratched up and the screwdriver is FUBAR (mine has 2 double bits in the handle and a hex hole on the bottom of the handle. Bits are fine, the 1/4 driver hole is bent). After the blade the rope/box/tape cutter has been the second most used tool. Yours seems to be a more expensivve model, may have to give it a try

I bought an off brand multi tool from drop . I really like it has large scissors as well as the pliers. It was the nextool flagship. Also in about the same price range. I carry it at work , it is a bit heavier than my old letterman but the scissors come in handy. Plus if I loose it, it’s not that bad to replace. It would be a good comparison to this tool. Each has a feature unique to them( scissors , bit driver) great vid thanks

That looks like a handy dandy affordable tool feature I most appreciate is the Locking of everything. Also I use the heck out of my can opener on my Leatherman

Have you seen the Roxon storm Doc? It's got the largest pair of scissors on a multi tool I've seen for sure, I got mine early on and since then they have upgraded and almost doubled in price but they are still inexpensive

I just got mine off Amazon. Proud that I could make Bezos richer, and contribute to the CCP...not. But, I have a weakness for good deals. I was amazed when I first got it how well built and sturdy it seems. The main blade is big and shaped well and is razor sharp (no kidding, as sharp as a Mora I think). The rope cutter (or serrated blade) seems real good, but not quite up to par with a leatherman, but truthfully I have not cut anything yet. The wire cutters cut 14 gauge stranded copper wire just fine. Can opener did the job, but not great (maybe I am using it wrong). Bottle opener worked perfect on a bottle of coke. Love the shape of the pliers and the seem pretty durable. Actually just bought it for a fidget tool, but now carry it on my belt to and from work. When I get to work, I tool up with a Leatherman "fuse" or a "wave". Lastly, the trim paint on the handles chips pretty easy so I could see the looks of this tool fading while the rest should hold up decent.

Hello, i would like to know if you were able to disassemble, adjust or modify this tool? I got one recently and everything works well, only the main blade is a little bit loose, and since it's so secured in place when opened I've cut myself twice trying to close it one handed. Thanks in advance.

I got one about a year ago. One of the locks broke (bit driver side). The saw broke on the slightest of binds. Sheath is complete trash.

That looks exactly same as mossy oak 21 in 1 and Wetol 21 in 1. Looks like they're all made in same factory and just different brand names

I actually prefer the multi tool can openers or the Japanese style can openers . Hate the twist style openers.

You got me on this one... went to Amazon and not only was there the 30% off code you gave but another coupon, so I got the “black” one for $14.93 after tax. I was needing another multitool as a backup to have in one of my bags... figured this would do the trick

all of you young kids talking about which multi tool you were issued.... WE had to buy ours. and honestly my generation of soldiers were the first that even had them available. I went through Basic in 85 and got out in 94. the Leatherman PST had only been on the market for a couple years, and hardly anyone even knew they existed. it was on the recommended list on our "day 3" trip to the PX for stuff we had to buy,

Whatever you say youngster. I went through basic in 80. ROFL We were marched into the PX and told what to buy for our drawer for inspection (who actually uses a shaving brush and cup?). But we weren't allowed to go there by ourselves until after the second week of basic

@@krknfmkr8919 we were marched there as well, with a list. it had 2 sections, required and recommended. the Leatherman PST was something most of us had never even heard of, but it was on the recommended list. then as we checked out, the Drill Sgts were watching to make sure we didn't have anything on the contraband list. oh, and when I shaved, I used a mug and brush, and gave them to all 3 of my boys, 2 of which still use them ;P

@@OtherThanIntendedPurpose we weren't given a "recommended list" only a "required" one. I actually used my shaving brush and cup after I got out. I still have the razor my Dad gave me when I was 18. It is an old Gillette that takes the double edged blades. It was old when he gave it to me, and that was over 40 years ago
