I've been supporting b.a.p since predebut and still do.. There debut song "Warrior" hit #10 in the billboard world album charts (No other kpop group has done that with a debut) and they were one of the first kpop groups to perform in the US in 2012. Sadly they went on hiatus while filing a lawsuit against the company and inbetween then Bts debuted and most Bap fans left and became Armys 😔 Btw please react to Warrior next 🔥

TShit really fucked things up. i'm still fuming whenever i think about BAP. they were my ult group before MAMAMOO. Yongguk was affected heavily by this bcs he's the leader and felt responsible for the group and i'm so proud of him for standing up for them. I hope you enjoy the journey of discovering BAP. oh not to forget, they always had this whistle sound in most of their songs.

woww did I really see someone reaction to BAP 🤧🤧🤧 Okay here is the thing... I am a hardcore army rightnow, but before I was an army I was a "baby" - BAP fandom.... There was no denying that BAP were the pioneers of combining epic synchronized choreography with real rapping and hip hop music (which is like the most popular boygroup concept nowadays)...... seriously, before it used to be all about boyfriend like idol groups like suju, txvq, shinhwa, teentop, infinite with handsome members and synchronized dancing ...OR.... the hardcore hiphop group with real rappers who dont concentrate on dance like Bigbang, block B etc..... BAP were literally the first to really conbine the two, they had real underground rappers and hip hop music yet combine it with intense synchronized choreography and address imp issues.... Sadly they only shine for like 2 years before their law suit and after their comback years later they never got the recognition anymore🥲 Though frankly speaking I personally dont think their group have the top visual idol for kpop standard but on the other hand I have never seen a group who consists of the main 3 criteria in kpop -they had the top vocalist in kpop (daehyun), the top dancer in kpop (jongup), and the top rapper in kpop (bang yangguk).... THEY HAD ALL THREE YET THEIR COMPANY FAILED THEM

Why I love BAP, their messages are so empowering! Their music is what I listen to when I need that strength to be tough and just drill through my days. Not to mention their Wake Me Up MV! Ugh! So important. Take care of your mental health!

B.A.P is the reason why I am in the world of kpop now. I just heard plagiarism for their song Wake me up and immediately went to listen to the original and I just couldn't stop myself. For almost 3 years now they have been my number 1 (along with INFINITE and iKON). I advise you to watch their live performances, they are much better than the videos. And they always sing live. For this particular song, I always recommend watching either a live performance or a video with lyrics to hear the high notes that Daehyun (main vocalist) "gives out". Because watching the video, everyone is just immersed in the video itself, forgetting about the song. I always have a goosebumps when hear Daehyun's high notes. also their style - they both had real rappers from underground and their dance are both hard af.... before both bap and bts happen all idols were so into being boyfriend like groups - handsome,nice, synchronized dance eg: suju, tvxq, shinee, infinite...... and there were the few hiphop groups like bigbang, block B who dont concentrate on dance (BAP were the pioneers of combining the two style and BTS debut a year later with the same concept and popularized the concept)

B.A.P is still one of my favorite groups out there and I'm a K-Pop fan for more than 12 years now. They were so different in music style, the effort they put in their MV's and so full of potential. Everything they produced was amazing, from their debut song to their albums. Bang Yongguk, the leader, is my favorite solo artist of alltime btw. (The first one to rap). You should also check his solo stuff out. Hikkikomori, 4:44Am, Yamazaki, Ya are masterpieces!

1:12 I'm an ARMY, been listening to kpop since 2010 (B.A.P used to be the main group I stan before BTS) and I totally agree with that statement. I feel like in some ways BTS do look up to B.A.P as their seniors and even draw some inspiration from them. Actually Sleepy Kim (rapper & B.A.P's senior at TS Ent) was the one who persuaded Namjoon to audition at then Big Hit Entertainment. Sleepy Kim and B.A.P's Youngjae are also good friends with Seokjin. In 2013-2014 B.A.P and BTS had done some collaboration stages too. And since the schedules of both groups were always packed I'm sure they passed by each other quite often on music shows' backstage.

B.A.P my ultimate bias group!!!! Yes, I totally agree that they would have of been as big or bigger that BTS (btw I also love bts) I been a Kpop fan since 2010 and have seen so many groups debut. They truly made an impact on the Kpop industry. What everyone talks about BTS doing B.A.P did.. Deep meaningful lyrics, rap, choreography, versatile, vocals, can play instruments, write and produce their own music, act, choreographed... etc, too bad their stupid company were too greedy. Btw this was the most expensive MV at that time.

Bro i can't explain how much I love this group, this is one of my favorite mv's. It's also pretty annoying when people compare kpop groups like they're carbon copies of eachother. This is one of my favorite songs and music videos in general: you've go only one shot at life, if you go to a life of crime/the bad way, you'll end up dead or in jail. And it applies to several other instances in life. Amazing lyrics. And actually, I found BTS thanks to BAP. I'm a fan of B.A.P, and I asked in a comment if they knew of another group with amazing lyrics like theirs. People told me about a rookie group named BTS with anti-system lyrics and an amazing choreo named BTS, and here I am today: full-on ARMY. I really think that if BAP was under BigHitEnt (BTS's company) and not that shithole company they were under, they would've been HUGE internationally. It's really sad how much they fucked them, to the point one of them suffers from severe anxiety and other things that happened to all of them. Horrible man.

They were the first Kpop group who sang no shitty love-dovey, girl friend boy friend, break ups, flirting, love love love stuff. BangYongGuk, the deep voice rapper, the leader, and their Singer song writer is a bone deep humanitarian and a socialist. Their lyrics were all about the bad politics and how youngsters should wake up, fight, and work hard to change the world. Bang was the man who aspired to be Martin Luther King, Jr. Although the MV are violent, if you watch his interviews, he’s the most pure hearted guy. I miss him a lot.

I love how your reaction is just so raw and meaningful. The way you input your thoughts while watching the music video, slowly engaging in the story of the lyrics and the video, that is a 'wow'. I rarely see genuine reactions like this. Yes. The ending is really confusing but back then in 2012, what I understand is that, the ending given where Youngjae (the hostage) was shot, is just an imagination of what will happen. The real ending is when Youngjae showed his badge and framed them up into a crime. They are worth stanning and their music videos, especially the song lyrics, always talked but the injustices in this world. It might be trivial but yes. You should definitely check out their solo music, especially Yongguk's! He is a crazy talented rapper and songwriter.

There would be no BTS without BAP and ARMYs can come at me (though I'm an ARMY from debut lol). The leader of BAP Bang Yongguk (the one with the deep voice) was a well known and respected underground rapper. Before BAP no one else had an idol group with underground rappers. Bts and Block B followed. They would not exist without BAP's massive success from debut. If you want to see a true masterpiece of a debut you should watch BAP's Warrior. Still one of the best KPOP debuts. Just remember that when Warrior and BAP debut in January 2012 there was NOTHING like it in KPOP. BTW this MV is saying that nothing good comes from being a criminal. You'll either end up in jail or die.

I won't say there would be no BTS without BAP but I can definitely agree that BAP are the pioneers of this type of music, no one before them did it .... mabe bts were inspired by them but BTS also deserve credit for popularizing this type of concept, because of bts this type of concept is the most popular concept for 4 gen boygroup now .... BAP deserve better tho, they had one of the best rapper in kpop (yongguk), one of the best vocalist (daehyun) and one of the best dancer (jongup)..... @@o-o1193 the style was already popular by the time they debuted in summer 2013 since BAP had released a whole lot of albums in a year that completely shifted kpop from its 2nd's to its 3rd generation sound. Albums like Warrior, Power, No mercy, One shot were so popular they represented the begining of a new era, BAP sweeping awards and other companies (who are smarter than TS ceo) took note and debuted their groups with similar style and aura. Suddendly every group has its deep-voiced rapper PS : Zelo dancing and rapping skills are mad underrated. Sure I am not a fan of his productions but this boy got talent and nice freestyle

I agree and I don’t see why anyone would need to come for you but we know how toxic people are. This wasn’t an insult.. they’re both great.. I wish nothing had happened to the group and they could still be active today.. and I’d still want BTS to debut and do their thing the way they did. It would’ve been amazing having both groups active doing their thing. This song hits me hard lyrically, and the message behind the story…. BTS got me with the story telling and deep lyrics so of course I’d love this song.. no doubt about that. I do need to look at more B.A.P songs tho, I’ve only looked at one other song and I didn’t vibe with it all that well for some reason. Over 2 years ago by now, I should go back and listen to it and see if things have changed since now I adore and listen to many different groups! I need to look into what they’re doing now, see if they’re all still doing music individually too! And maybe a guide cuz I haven’t done one on them yet.

I always say that BAP would have reached as high as BTS if TS Ent didn't do BAP dirty. BAP was the first group to come out with a powerful concept and debuting all blonde. It was memorable.

I absolutely understand exactly what they said when they said they were set to be BTS before BTS, and if you’ve either dove straight into their discography and storyline, esp lyrically/the messages or have been there from the beginning, you would get why too tbh... One Shot is supposed to warn listeners of going down the wrong path in life, choosing violence and being in things like gangs will only bring you two endings, jail or death. It's a shame really what happened to them because they were so extremely talented, the information you got only touched on the money issues but they were even physically abused by their company as well. They were overworked and pushed way past their limits, there are many instances of this but one particular intance always stays in my mind, they were scheduled to perform at a big end of year awards show. Apparently the company said all the memebers would be performing but it turns out one of the members, Daehyun, ended up falling ill due to being overworked and was admitted into the hospital for treatment and was on an IV drip the day of the show. Instead of telling the awards show Daehyun couldn't make it due to illness, TS pulled Daehyun out of the hospital and shoved him on stage to perform. There are videos of the performance online still, if you watch it and look closely, they didn't even remove the IV needle from Daehyun's hand and he performed with the IV needle stuck in his hand. B.A.P isn't the only artist they've screwed over either, literally EVERY SINGLE ARTIST that has EVER been under TS Entertainment have filed law suits against them for mistreatment and unfair profit distribution. No exceptions. Possibly one of the worst cases besides B.A.P was the group TRCNG which consisted of ALL minors at the time they were active, all members being born between 2000-2001 and they debuted in 2017 meaning the members were between 16-17 years old. They had poor living conditions, in K-Pop the companies provide dorms for their artists and trainees and the company also is responsible for the dorms and pays for them and also usually repairs them when needed ect however for TS and TRCNG, the floor was ripping up, the paint and wallpaper was peeling off, a group of 10 boys had to sleep in a tiny apartment that had like one bedroom. When the toilets were broken the company refused to pay the fees so the members parents had to pay for it themselves. The company also didn't pay the bills so their water and power was shut off in their dorms. They also suffered physical abuse from the staff, being hit by staff and in one incident their choreographer hit a member with a metal chair and he had to take himself to the emergency room and pay for it himself. Supposedly TS Entertainment shut down this year but I haven't been able to find anything official stated and some artists are still legally bound to the contracts they had with TS but as far as I know, they're basically finished at this point.

They were (are) my first loves. I will never forgive THAT company for not being what they needed. It just makes me appreciate companies like BigHit (well, let’s face it, there’s no company as good as BH😪) and I actually get depressed if I think about what might have been if they’d had a label like that behind them. Yes, I love them and keep up with their solo stuff and talk about them nonstop on Twitter, but they were so amazing and most people don’t even know about them. Talk about “paving the way”…they did so many iconic (record breaking!) things/MVs that today’s groups still couldn’t pull off. Loved the reaction too, but sorry, I get in my feelings when I see BAP anywhere 🤣🤣🤣💚💚 I like how you actually appreciated the work and art that went into this masterpiece. *goes to see if you did a reaction to the MOVIE that is their Skydive MV*😂 Their “mission” was to help stop the pain and tears on Earth and they continue to do that to this day. 🥺
