They are awesome aircraft even though they are so old. I love the whine of their 8 engines when they are taking off.

@@patrickkenyon2326 Very cool! It must have been awesome being part of such an important mission (i.e., B-52 nuclear deterrence). Alaska was probably an interesting place to be stationed also.

@@BobF12345 Beautiful country. My father had a Cessna on skis so we could land almost anywhere and camp. Dangerous, though. Search and Rescue told us to avoid crashing in the water at all cost, because hypothermia would kill us in ten minutes.
