I love the way all the light on the isle is filtered through these blue, azure colored clouds. Would make for a breathtaking vacation place in real life.

The Burning Crusade will always be my favorite expansion. When it launched, I remember how many would rush through the portal. Here I was, not having it. I would finally make a Shaman. Starting out in the Draenei zone and being welcomed by the scenery and this music... I was stunned... It triggered a spark in me that always draws me back to Azuremyst Isle... After creating my Shaman (Azuraia and now Azuraya) I embarked on a journey. I will never forget those memories. Blizzard had absolute Gold in hand with their WoW IP. Imagine a game that is almost 20 years old and still relevant to this very day...

I’ve listened to this every night for 7-8 months now and it has done wonders for my sleep. If it had any more of a consistent tune it would keep my mind awake, but the way the music wanders without much of a pattern doesn’t hold my brains attention and let’s me fall asleep. There isn’t really anything else like it in WoW that my mind doesn’t immediately start following the tune and distracts me from sleeping while thinking of the old WoW days.

Funny, I use this music also when I lie in bed or when I take a stroll through the forest. I think Derek Duke (composer) has no clue how many people listen to this still in 2022...

I must have listened to this thousands of times now. I have been listening to it frequently to sleep for 10 years. It truly is one of the most underrated soundtracks in the game. It transports me to a spiritual place. I can truly envision what the fantasy species of Draenei must have been like just from this soundtrack alone.

The start gave me chills..

Thank you for making this, this is the best mix of this music on youtube!

Ah Light, sometimes I just really need this. Feels like home, even though I'm not Draenei.

Best soundtrack in gaming history

I have searched far and wide for a compilation of all the good Azuremyst tracks without any of the horrible tracks like the bear cave or whathaveyou. a 10 hour of loop of the beautiful tracks would be ideal.

KZread decides what you can monetize and what not. If ads are shown it’s ok with them to earn money. That’s how everyone on youtube earn money with playing games since music is always there.

You can opt out of monetizing this video, and you should. It's not like you're making your living off this. You're just causing random video ads to appear throughout, which is totally killing the vibe and your intention of this video - "for meditation" you wrote

No problem, I’m glad you like the video. I actually edited the original music myself so it has seamless transitions for 1 hour. Also no more ads in between :)

why are we calling electronic music tribal?

I believe Derek Duke did not use electronical instruments. He actually studied music and went to parts of africa and/or India to gain inspiration through their native instruments. I read an article once in which he states he used these instruments to actually breathe life into this "track"...
