Nice. :D Might do some for other ships as well.

Though I don't consider her my main waifu in AL, Eugen alone was 80% of the reason why I started playing AL, and she carried my fleets from Ch 3 to Ch12. I love to see her interactions in game, and I hope she gets a buff or a retrofit in the future. All the "main"/Most common waifus deserve it since most are considered weak nowadays, but they can still help any new commander in AL, so they still have their value in battle. Loved this video format, can't wait for the next one!

Pensacola carried my fleet a long way when I started, she's kind of "a first love" in AL for me, and her IRL service history also is fantastic, I really hope she gets more recognition and not only a retrofit but also some skins. Pensacola is in my top 10, I really like her.

So basically with Prinz Eugen, if you go out drinking with her one night. You'll probably end up waking up in the same bed in the morning. Not that that's bad or anything.

2:11 is a reference to an engagement during Bismarck's sortie. During 1941, both battle-crusier Hood and Battleship POW were tasked to sink Bismarck and Prinz Eugen. Hood with a less modern optics sight, targeted the heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen, the lead ship. POW with the more modern optics targets Bismarck which was at the back. This is because both Bismarck and Prinz Eugen had similar silhouettes and Hitler send in Prinz Eugen to lead the ships Reason for the different optic sights is because Auntie Hood was commissioned and made during ww1 while POW was commissioned and made during 1939 hence the different optical sights -plus the British admiralty were broke at the time and they couldn't afford the re-modernization program for Hood-

There's modernization plans for hood that gets revisioned twice by the parliament citing budgetary reasons. Ultimately the modernization plans were scrapped altogether on the outbreak of war and she's sent out of the dry dock without even the planned refits. One of the rumors floated in the aftermath of her sinking is apparently she got her turret roofs refitted into lighter ones due to planned upgrades on her gun that was postponed on the outbreak of war.

ngl i was very interested in prinz eugen as a ship but the AL came around and that made me more interested to her

Same thing that got me interested in the game was having her ship and her as a admiral in wows then got interested in AL

Prinz Eugen is the necessary ship waifu for all shikikan of cultured tastes. The girl has personality facets for each occasion, and is lots of fun at parties. (Maybe it's because she's named for a Dutch gal and not a Deustche gal? :D Plus as a cruiser she has meta and waifu status. All hail Prinz Eugen.

Eugen was my first oath.

The only ship Bismarck ever sortied with was Prinz Eugen so it might be a reference to that with her not being accustomed to sortying with another ship then Eugen.

Hood mistook Eugen for Bismarck during the Battle of Denmark Strait because her optics weren't as good as Prince of Wales'.

@@akaneriyun4774 i know about the story about the mistake, it wasn't because of the optics (even because watchmen would just use binoculars, ain't that much difference) the mistake comes from the fact that the Intel mentioned that Bisko was in front while Eugen in the back, in reality though, the positions were swapped after some time passed since they started the sortie. so they both attacked Eugen who was in front which was mistaken for Bisko, their hulls and turrets are pretty similar so that's also another reason
