- An improvement over the previous Enterprise fleet + Shangri-la is a RNG-independent version of Enterprise + Some torpedo bombs of the 1st airstrike may miss because the boss moves, so Spearfish instead of Saiun. However, you do need it at +13, or else +13 Saiun is still better in the long run + Plymouth now has exercise report, make her more durable to take some damage for Laffey II for a little longer, as a result make Laffey II tankier as well. Without ascension box Kearsarge is more likely to miss due to bad spread however - Laffey II always survives till the end in my testing. If your Laffey can’t do the same thing it might be because your fleet tech is not the same as mine (I have maximum fleet tech) and I take zero responsibility for that. If everything lines up you can get a kill as well. If we had an Enterprise retrofit that would be a 100% kill rate, but we don’t so…

Well now i have to quickly get my shangi la to 125 and oath^^ rest is no problem.

USS and HMS ships are finally getting the spotlight they deserve? Damn, never thought that day would come after a very long KMS and IJN dominance.

Still havent gotten shangri after all these years. Time to get her through the invitation!

What's your opinion on Albion instead of Shangri-la? She gets full RN buff while all EU buffs maintain, can strike HVARx2 and Spearfish four times without being oathed (and negligible support to vanguards) , York2 now has the luxury to run Skyraider by herself. Plus she probably has a lower ceiling than Shangri-la but is even more RNG-free than her (Shangri-la's first skill is RNG).

At certain point I did consider her and some alternatives like Centaur or Independence, but ultimately scrapped all of them for reasons I don't remember, probably simply not enough damage. I'll try later but i don't think she'll be better

Shangri-La was the first Super Rare I rolled in this game. Its been a LONG time since I've run that ship. Does Shangri-La usually get 1st in damage, and if so then how?

She has Skyraider, and damage buff similar to Enterprise (lucky E is simply damage dealt +100%)

i'll try with Laffey 2 and Sirius at 120... I will not spend array on them for that, I barely use both lol

sirius i understand, but laffey 2 is really strong. strong enough to be the main tank, good damage dealer and decent aa for chap 15 atleast.

@@pandaking1981 still I don't care at all for her... I didn't delete her because she's USS, if she wasn't... she would be deleted like I did with a few other characters that I don't like. The same goes for Guam.
