I'm a lvl 90 admiral from JP and i wouldn't recommend new player to buy the scam box.... i mean gold box from the shop. Cause they're very costly, even with my lvl. I only buy it only when i have overflowed gold and have nothing to spend on. The gold boxes only have 30% to give a gold equipment, and mostly the thing you doesn't need (Like repair crane, and you only need 1 each ship). Most of the good gold equipment you can get from the event and maps. Also, gold box can get from daily raid and higher map, just patience and you'll get what you want. Except you're pay to win and buying gold. Mostly you want to use purple equip, some case even blue or white, because they give the best dps or special effect(some very good effect only available in white/blue/purple), but mostly you want for cooldown and low cost upgrade. Gold only for extra stats. For the Newbie, i highly recommend save your gold for building ship. Get the top tier like Hood, Warspite, Enterprise, Illustrious first, and then stop building, save cubes for events. And then upgrade equipment, limit break and retrofit. Check the shop EVERYTIME it reset. If you have to buy something in the shop then i recommend: - Purple upgrade for Main gun and Auxiliary, even blue/white if you really need it (See it, buy it, Don't think, believe me, it'll never enough), other are optional. Planes upgrade is another the best choise (BBV retrofit needed it) - Skin box. (Costly, but limited time only, optional) - Purple food (with gold&merit, yes, rare, but they actually sell it) - Gems. (Again, yes, they sell it, with gold, extremely rare) - Red skill book. (Like the upgrade, you'll need a lot, other is optional.) - Cube. (Rare, gold&merit) - Bullin. (merit)

@Deirdreiswaifu Forever : it's depend on how and what ship you're used them on, you'll guaranteed get 3 purple bullin and 1 gold from weekly quest, and monthly login, so around 12 purple and 5 gold per month. It's mean to be that you will never have enough to limit break every ship. So use it wisely and use dup if you can. Other source is buying from merit shop or medal exchange. Some mini event quest chain, will give you as well, so it a bit generous if you doesn't use it too careless. For new player you can't afford the medal exchange, cause you will need to exchange for your first SSR from 80 medal exchange. So, not highly recommend that, unless you're lucky with your construction. For the merit exchange, just pvp as much as you can, get the 2 SSR, and them use it to buy Bullin. Even if you want to limit break Eldridge or South Dakota, don't buy another copy. So Pvp as much as you can, and must win. You got bonus merit as you ranked up and half if you lose. Another tip that you can cancel pvp with no cost to choose a different opponent or retry till win, if you don't care about pride.

You can also look up which ships are in each class by going to the collection button, which on the left of that top row of buttons. So if you're looking for all the Portland class, or Fletcher class, etc, you can just go there and it'll show you what you have and what you're missing.

Don’t forget to tap shop girl for rewards and farm 3-4 10000x for SSR ship drops

A heads up, the Three stars on the battle screen does not unlock the next chapter, it is purely for additional one time rewards for getting the three stars, which is usually, 'Clear the final boss once' 'Destroy X escort ships' 'Clear the Whole map of Ships once'. What determines how many times you need to complete a chapter to unlock the next one is the progress percentage bar when viewing the chapter. Usually early missions require but 1 clear, while later missions require multiple clears, all the way up to 5 clears. You can unlock the next chapter without getting all 3 stars.

Thank you for the upload. This video can help newbies and its very informative. Tip from someone who has JPN account not all gold equipment means its very good some purple equipment can be more powerful that some gold equipment. Edit: Farming specific gold or purple ship can be a grind but worth it especially that 3-4 map LMAO

Im on the School day 6 mission where you have to complete 2 stages. Completed 2 missions but the mission is not complete it says. Any ideas?

26:30 actually you clear a stage by completing it multiple times, there are separate rewards for clearing a stage and getting all 3 stars.

How can you change the why your ships look at you? Like some ship think your a stranger or a friend or a crush how can you change that?

So does the google doc imply to get the purple ships it needs to be on hard mode? Or do they drop in both difficulty but with the other it has a higher chance?

wiki says it doesn't matter what mode you grind in, purples have the same chance in hard or normal mode. most purples drop for every fleet on the map, so just kill all enemies on the map instead of going for the boss as soon as it appears.

Does someone know if they have given fifth formation some point? 4 is not enough.

I may have forgotten the tutorial a little bit, but I think the tutorial went over how to change or add a torpedo in your fleet and I forgot how so....Can you tell me how to do that?

7:00 you shouldn't recommand to build heavy or special ships on the daily. it's better to build a light ship every day to do the daily mission to get the cube back and keep all the other cubes you can get from daily missions. its better to have a lot of cubes in reserve for limited builds during events. for most of the time you won't be able to run out of quick finishers.

How come your version of Azur Lane is different @43:18, I can see only 2-3 letters, like: FP firepower, TPD Torpedo, AVI aviation, RLD reload. so that's why I don't understand basically because of 3 letters display.

Lvl is important, just like rarity!

You might have found out already, but you don't need to scrap any equipment at 10:27. All you need to do is tap the cancel button.

The retrofit is only in the starters and some normal/rare/elite ships, the only SR with retrofit is San Diego for now but Warspite retrofit was already announced. You should try to make various fleets trying to get a good combination of skills between ships tbh. You can "battle" real humans in exercise, although is all in auto

use Bulin but it is not recommend, well Limit-Break mechanic is use Bulin or identical ship. Purple Bulin can Limit-Break from Common Ship to Elite Ship, while Gold Bulin up to Super Rare Ship

I just started and I literally can't find this information anywhere. Wtf do I do in PvP? How do I actually control the ships? Im a newbie on the Azure Lane EN and have 10k gems bought from add gems shop.. Where should I spend it if I were you? I followed the guides on youtube and here and already bought the dorm slots using free gems from playing, And i think I don't need anymore to build ships as I alrdy have the best sr units from luck lol.. Could I spend it on Gold/Oil for t4 boxes and more playtime, Dorm food for faster lvling of units?, For skins I guess I will buy some for my fav units and I think the rings will be needed too... Any other things come in mind guys? Im a semi casual player (working mon-fri) and I really liked the game so I want to maximize the usage of my gems.. Thanks!

I do NOT recommend buying oil with gems, even gold is a bit iffy; especially if you are a casual player because you will generate plenty of oil and gold through the canteen and merchant each day. Even buying cubes to get more ships is meh. You end up getting quite a bit of cubes just from dailies. After you've bought the dorm slots and are happy with your storage and dock space, I would recommend saving the gems for rings and skins. They will end up costing quite a bit especially if you have multiple girls you like. In the end the game is to be enjoyed so do what you feel is right

Probably the best beginner guide but say "highly recommend" one more time I SWEAR TO GOD...!

Definitely what AJ said, hold on to the extra copy until you max out the original SSR's level. You could even wait until you finish farming ships you want or you start struggling with the in game content before limit breaking the SSR!!

Technically it's SR which stands for Super Rare, the highest rarity of a ship. About a 7% chance to build an SR

Nice video, but one thing I'd disagree with is the crafting 6 tier 1 skill books into a tier 2 book. Each t1 book gives 150 skill exp and a t2 gives 450 skill exp, so you'd be losing out on 450 exp per t2 book crafted (these figures assume you're using a book of the same color as the skill, otherwise the numbers are 100/300.)

While there is a steep xp drop in total, using 3 t1 books i assume takes much more time than 1 t2. Its a matter of prefrence i guess, do you want things done quickly or do you want to profit the most out of everything you have. I assume getting t1 books isnt difficult later on so im guessing its still better to just use t2.

Morale regenerates naturally, but affection does not increase naturally. To raise affection you can 1) Use the girl in battle (not exercises though) 2) Put her in the dorm and tap the heart icon if it appears 3) Put her as your secretary

Don't sortie Bulin because they weak as hell, they use for Limit Break or for Retire to get Medal for Exchange(if you brave or you confidence about your money). Recommend to keep Bulin as a Limit-Break resource

How to get rubies/gems in this game?

1) Completing the collection 2) Finishing story missions 3) Some commissions 4) They are sometimes given out (for free) by the creators for celebrations

I dont understand how you are doing 2-3 with 3 members. Even with 3 elites and a full team its difficult to auto 2-3 and impossible to auto 2-4 with level 30s. You might be able to barely manage by doing it manually but I'm skeptical. Also why dont you want a full team? Yes the cost increases but more girls get exp for the battle so shouldnt it be less exp in the long run.
