The original video was encoded with the wrong framerate so the panning scenes were blurry. Nobody asked for it, but it bothered me enough to re-encode all of the source videos and re-export this project a year later.

I scrubbed every frame of Azumanga Daioh to bring you only the parts where Chihiro is in frame. I spent many days, and lost sleep trying to figure out whether it was her or some other background character with short black hair. I hope you enjoy the work that I put in to celebrate this underrated character.

What kind of friend is she?
I recently found out that ui means sad or gloomy in Japanese. So Chihiro is saying "uiiiiiii" in a way that sounds like she's crying. That wordplay seems to be a running gag in the show, like when Yukari talks to a foreigner by saying "perapera", which means fluent in Japanese!
My sources tell me that Azuma is going to announce a Chihiro solo anime in a few months!
12 minutes is like half an episode, poor chihiro..
The pose Chihiro and Kaorin did to present the Chiyo-Penguin is one of the most adorable thing in this entire show. I wish we had more of those two because some of their interaction where really funny... it also makes Kaorin feel more like a real person and not just a crazy lesbian stalker.

Both are wrong, maybe in different ways, but both are wrong. Maybe when you made this video you made less mistakes, but you still repeated the mistake of saving the video to 25 FPS. And in the very first few seconds of this video you can easily see a sort of stutter or a "pause" (a few times) resulting from the repeated frames caused by you saving the video to 25 FPS. If you used Sony Vegas then somewhere in Vegas you probably had 25 FPS set somewhere. Azumanga Daioh is 23.976 FPS. Nothing else. Not 24 FPS. And absolutely not 25 FPS. If you have any files with a different FPS than 23.976, then that's a result of whoever created those files either intentionally messing with the framerate or accidentally messing it up. You can check the FPS in MPC-BE by right-clicking on the image during playback and then going to Filters and then to Haali Video Renderer (you are using Haali, right...) and then clicking "Pin Info". Beware that the program called Media Info sometimes gives incorrect FPS reports. The MPC method is more trustworthy.
