Aztec Ruins National Monument | New Mexico

Come discover Aztec Ruins National Monument. We enjoyed exploring the ruins which date back 900 years (1100 AD).
We hiked the Aztec West Trail, which is a 0.5-mile loop through the ruins. There are over 500 masonry rooms in the area. Aztec Ruins National Monument is a fee park and is NM is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area. It is only 1.5 hrs from Mesa Verde National Park in southwestern Colorado.

Very cool place. I think the architects of the past could teach people a thing or two about construction in the present. Really nice information you gave to. Have a great week and great work on this video.

It was so beautifully done. Schools come visit and sometimes get a glimpse at the rituals with ceremonies being recreated by Native Americans. I wish we could have seen one. The great thing about this place was that it was small so we took our time to read about the history and their lifestyle. Little had a blast running around - it was perfect for him!
