Aztec Calendar CNC Project
Today we'll be looking at making Aztec Calendar CNC project from Laminated Pine Board you can get from most hardware stores.
We'll be using the Vectric Aspire and Shapeoko 3 to cut this Aztec round CNC project and will be finishing the wood with water based stain and lacquer spray clear coat.

What program are you using? Software like Vectric optimizes the tool path for a MUCH faster cut. You can speed up your feeds. I can do a 12x18" in about 3-4 hours.

@@MakeTechCreate vcarve pro 11. Yea middel was in near size it takes like 4 h to make. Full size like 35.4"

@@MakeTechCreate same v-bit 2feed, plunge 1.5. For flat cleaning 6mm and 3mm downcuts with feed like 5 and plunge 2

I just checked, and I'm running my 60⁰ vbit at 60 inches/min and plunge at 30 inches/min ... you'll have todo metric convertion on that. For at 9" calendar, Aspire is estimating 1.5 hours.... which is about right fron my experience.
What size wood did u use.
