Azie Faison: Alpo Wanted Revenge for My Shooting by Killing Kevin's Mother, I Stopped It (Part 17)

Part 18: • Azie Faison on "Black ...
Part 16: • Azie Faison on Taking ...
Part 1: • Azie Faison Learned Ab...
--------
In this clip, Azie Faison talks about what it was like to see the men who tried to assassinate him in a courtroom and the method behind the murder of six people in one night. He also explains that murdering a contemporary was not a part of his street code or the way he did business when he was in the game. In addition, the former drug lord details the process that his friends and family had to go through just to visit him in the hospital after he had been shot nine times. Lastly, the Harlem native talks about the famous line from 'Paid In Full' where the character played by Cam'ron says, "Ni**as get shot everyday, b. You'll be aight" and how accurately that quote portrayed Alpo on screen.

In the streets he was considered soft. You have to meet aggression with more aggression or the game will swallow you whole. I respect Azie but if he hadn't gotten out of the game, he was eventually gonna get busted and he would've snitched on his connect and everybody. He wasn't built for that life. His trustworthiness put him in a good position with the plug, but he wasn't ruthless enough for the game

Y’all have to understand Azie perspective on things. He’s a laid back dude that don’t want beef, he’s pretty much saying if we out here getting money and everybody eating no problem why u have to come bite the hand that feed u, why is it so much murder murder murder to reign supreme over the next man when we r all getting it. That’s coming from a normal logical way of thinking I’m with him on that u would think ppl would just be smooth and get this money. But on the flip side of that coin u have to be mindful of the sick individuals out there who r greedy and selfish and just don’t give AF and ultimately that be their downfall like most crews becuz they got in way over their heads. Now if Azie was ordering hits becuz he definitely had the power to do that, he could’ve eliminated potential threats who were coming along trying to f**k shyt up. But I think he did it the right way becuz guess what he’s still living and most aren’t who were bosses during that time. So I guess it pays to have some sort of dignity in the game. He still paid for it being shot 9 times becuz he was still a Kingpin selling that poison to ppl but in the grand scheme of things he still have his life and can talk about it to this day. But u have to realize too he saw Rich and them doing their thing and I believe Azie just wanted to get in just to get paid not to be on bullshyt. He’s from the hood but he was a good dude from that environment and most ppl would call him a square.

@@mauricereynolds1751 it was big head Gary with him and I'm sure that they would've tried to get Azie. The way alpo moved was based on gaining and getting rid of the evidence so that he can control the narrative. After rich's murder, Azid noticed a handwritten sign on his dusty car in the garage that read, "You're next mf".. The game in DC brought out more evil in Alpo and he brought that mentality to Harlem
