Azharuddin and Vinod Kambli smash New Zealand bowlers including Simon Doull and Dion Nash to all parts of the Kotla and take India to a huge score of 289/3 after 50 overs which proves to be a match winning total at the end of the match as New Zealand are bowled out for 182.

I travelled in night to see my first cricket match in stadium along with my close friend.. ticket costed us Rs.50 each for general stand... great experience

He was given sufficient opportunities but it was his own doing that cost his place. He was also susceptible to short pitch bowling, if you see the 1994 IND vs WI series

@@karthikiyer8217 mainly his attitude was creating adverse impact within team. Still Azhar kept finding ways to give Kambli as many opportunity as possible just because of Kamblis talent.
Azhar could always get very aggressive when he wanted to

He didnt have the show off of agression like saurav ganguly or virat kohli but he was very brave guy internally even in closing fielding like silly field position he used not wear helmet azhar inzamam ul haq and saeed are very brave personality internally but without showing off
