isnt this not included in the az900 exam anymore? i checked on their website that new Skills measured as of July 31, 2023 didn't mention any blueprint material

Adam, thanks for the excellent video. I just would had desire you to get into more detail for azure blueprint assignment. On the video it appears the default. But could you assign a blueprint to a management group or just a subscription or subscriptions?

Adam, Lets say we incorporated blue print for 2 (Say A and B) subscriptions , however there comes an exception(Lets say we need to define something else for a particular Resource Grp) for one of resource groups (within Subscription A) how do Azure handles such scenarios?

Azure Blueprints are to provide reusable design patterns. To me sounds like you are developing CI/CD for your application rather than provide generic template for other teams to use. In my opinion just use ARM templates with Azure DevOps. ARM templates can deploy pipelines for ADF just fine.

Hey Adam, The delete lock work for service bus topics only when using portal but not with servicebus explorer desktop app.Any workaround how to make it work when using service bus explorer app.

Nice work! Congrats! :) Well, check agenda and try playing around with the services. Most of the time questions do not require deep .NET knowledge, online guides should be enough to learn. Best of luck!

Hi Adam, I have a question! If I have a root management group and some child management groups where each child management group contains an Azure subscription, in this scenario i can define and assigne the Blueprint on the root management level for all nested Azure subscription right?

Unfortunately assigning blueprint to a management group doesn't mean that it's automatically deployed across all the child subscriptions. In Azure ARM templates are equivalent of Cloud Formation. Blueprints is just centralized repo + UI with few features around deployment management :)

so what would it give me the edge if I am working in a small organization? And how do I integrate this to my pipelines ?

Honestly hard to advise you without knowing what do you want to do and why. But in general use services and tools when they provide a benefit to you, not other way around.

In reality this service is of no use … but your vlogs are always useful

Tricky topic. Not much in terms of technicality, RBAC assignments, Policy Assignments, Groups, Resources can also be deployed using just ARM. I think the value is reusability and centralized portal to manage those. Plus blueprints have some extra features like Deny Assignments (no possible in ARM), locks which only allow updates via blueprints even for owners, and updates to latest version of blueprint with a click.

this makes no sense at all. the whole point of blueprint is to copy paste lets say my resource group with no errors but here in the demo you just created a new blue print from scratch but in reality I would nt know when to use a blue print and when to not. I am not going to create every resource group with a blue print.
