Oxfam supported in establishment of fruits and berries processing plant in Ayrum community of Tavush province in Armenia as an innovative gender and market social enterprise.
By launching the “Ayrum Fruits” social enterprise in a rural borderline community of Armenia, Oxfam generates sustainable business opportunities for local small holder farmers, strengthens them and helps them to become viable. It creates new economic and employment opportunities in poor and borderline communities by helping many thousands of people particularly women to work their way out of poverty.
