इसमें कोई शक नहीं कि यह गाना, लाखों गानों पर भारी है।आज भी वही ताज़गी है।सारिका ने लता जी का अहसास भी नहीं होने दिया, डूबकर गाया है।इस गाने में डूबकर ही इसे गाया जा सकता है,और म्यूजिक,जो आपको दिल के तारों को छेड़ने के लिए ही बनाया गया है, बहुत ही दिलकश है।और जांनिसार साहब के मखमली अल्फ़ाज़ों ने ही तो गाने में जान डाल दी है।हम इसे एक ऐसा परफेक्ट गीत कह सकते हैं,जिसे जब भी सुना जायेगा,रूह को एक तसल्ली सी मिलेगी।

For a song to be great, the top credit goes to the music director who creates melody out of a simple poem (lyrics), as has been the practice.
