I was about to say that the Aye-Aye was my favorite animal as a kid, but it didnt look like the aye-aye i knew. so upon some research it turns out my favorite anime was actually the Tarsier and the magazine i read just mistakenly called it aye-aye. so i guess it's nay-nay for this one. still cute though, i love bats and it kinda looks like one. EDIT: and seems i missed an episode of yours on the Tarsier itself, woops.

I've always loved animals, but the aye aye just creeps me out. I remember watching a nature show many years ago and saw the aye aye in action for the first time. The appearance isn't what disturbs me; the aye aye is oddly cute. It's the damn movements which I find truly horrifying. I know it serves a purpose in the circle of life, and it has every right to live, but damn nature, did you have to give us something like *this?* I mean, I'm now in my thirties and watching the aye aye tap around for grubs like that still gives me chills.

Aye Aye are actually friendly and normal animals, just because they are rather strange doesn't make them evil. These creatures are marked for extinction if locals don't figure this out

Whoa! i believe she said the fingers are half the length of the body. (She then went on to say the same thing about the tail.) Maybe if you put them all together end to end.... I think she also said they eat "fungi seeds." Fungi DO NOT have seeds!
