To me at least it seems , that he alone is lonely. Not because he can't make friends but because he can't make any real friendships. One's that have emotions and similar interests. One's that have self satisfaction or pleasure. All due to his emotional numbness , he can't have any meaningful relationships. The closest he's gotten is to horikita , because unlike most they have a similar interest. Emotional numbness sucks.

@@EmileoAmvs That effects of the white room are traumatic , due to lack of stimulation and a repeated environment where one's hopes and interests are broken. Where one is forced to follow the goal at hand to survive. He indeed is emotionally numb. I personally believe I know about it the most since I myself am emotionally numb and have been researching about it for the past 2 years. I had lived in a similar environment to kiyotaka but without any stimulation at all , including books , educative tools and entertainment of any sorts. Only myself to talk to , all alone for those years in that white colored dark room.

Ayanokoji just wants that someone can be grow to his level and he wants to lose by someone😢😢😢
