My theory is that Koji triggered Ryuen's fear of the unknown, referring to the fact he can't even guess what Koji feels, intends to do, or what he's thinking of at the moment. It's an exploitation of an innate fear everyone has, including disabled people, and especially those with mental or psychological problems. Being the bored and emotionless beast he is, at that one short moment Ryuen had no idea how strong he actually is, or how the days with him would go, or how Koji would act from that point on, and even if it lasted only a short period of time, he, Ryuen, Dragon boy, felt fear. Koji did notice tho.

This anime is like the one exception to many if not the majority of studios that is willing to fork out the money to make a baller animated episode

Tbh if you read the LN the fight and pummeling of Ryuen is more satisfying 🤌🤌

I've watch to many reactions to this episode and it's still not enough 😂

Also Hornikoji might have been at work that day, he was dodging in a way that her pantsu is in view when she attacks, and in the anime she was hit on the nape(?) or neck, but in the LN i think koji just straight up slammed her on the floor after getting bored dodging her "fast" kicks

They probably trying to make it a little bit friendly, I mean, most manga/ln that has a lewd mc, or has somewhat offensive scenes are usually changed or removed, like for example, the part when Kiyo defended Karuizawa from the bullies, in the anime it was pretty normal, but in the ln, Ayano was pretty aggressive there by touching her thighs, and then in the fight against Ryuen, he was supposed to look at Ibuki's panties, stares at it, and gets bored immediately, so i'm guessing they're trying to make it chikd friendly atleast
