Hi there , thank you for getting in touch 😊 , Yes you can use normal oven to bake the chicken and so in this instance you don't have to steam it. For each 1 kg in weight cook for 1 hour 15 minutes or until it's cooked at 180' degrees celcius. Please ensure you cover the chicken with aluminium foil and after its cooked open the aluminium foil and bake the chicken for another 15 minutes at the same temprature.

Totally delicious so looking forward to cooking this....thank you so much for the recipe

Hi there, thank you for your support, I'm using ayam Negri on this video, sometimes I'm using ayam kampung, both of ayam kampung or negri taste delicious for Ayam betutu, the different is for ayam kampung less meat for ayam negri more meat 🙏🏽😊

Hello Linda Sidabutar , bisa ditaruh di oven , pertama kukus dulu 30 menit , lalu masukan ke oven 180’ C selama 45 menit - 1 jam ( sampai mateng ) nanti pas masukin ke oven cover atasnya pake aluminium foil biar tidak gosong , selamat mencoba , semoga hasilnya sesuai selera 😊
