This is the definition of Goa Trance, one of thest tracks ever made, this is just like Hallucinogen LSD or Hallucinogen Angelic Particles a track that is the athem of Goa Trance. Unfortunately today such great songs are not produced anymore, the artists try hard to make complex melodies and put as many sounds as possible, altough the balance between complexity and simplicity is the key to a track, that is as good as this one.

Nailed It! Goa trance is not a simple gente that anyone with a computer can put sounds together and make Goa. The age of mainstream psy around 2005-2010 was It: people put a brunch of noises trying to make complex sounds and called It psy, they tried to hide the lack of Melody with fast/quick bpm, and It was comercial crap. Real Goa trance is made by musicians, It has a sequence and a logic in its tempo, and the Key to it's "spiritual" and trancedental sound is that It has a Melody (which was put effort to be constructed) and It is constructed with "simple" notes and organic sounds, Thefore its "simplicity" makes It so complex and piece of art

This kind of balance still exists nowadays. Next to "dense" Goa tracks made by the leaders of the scene ( Filteria, E-Mantra, etc. ) there exists artists such as Trinodia who make oldschool like stuff. This track for example makes me think in Trinodia - Epic Feel. Try it.

@SpaceChaos I so remember hearing this track for the first time back in '95 in Tokyo. In my mind I could see this gigantic trio playing... bassist, drummer, alien guitarist. The rhythm is sooooo Psychaos (Joti) and the sound is so Dino Psaras. Thank you so much for posting this. I don't have the original Dragonfly release, and the only CD I have this on is the mix from Oakenfold. memories with this one.... Bom Shankar!

its shit isnt it how every good trance/dance and house track are from the 90's :) goes to show how good it really was, the worst bit about it is it wont be relived again
