Axialfest 2024 @ the Badlands Night Crawl!
This was so much fun as it was my first real night crawl ever. I wish I could have got more footage of other trucks running, but I guess that’s what the horizon hobby guy was there for lol. Got to meet @kevin_fine Kevin Fine with Fine line Designs before the actual trail run. Great to night crawl with @cdube1971, Chad Dube. I briefly got to meet and interact with @OliverReantaso, the guy with the cool Redbull scx6 and also got to hang out with and meet @HillbillyAdventures and his crew. I do wish I could have met all of you guys out there and hang out trailing. I think we’d need a month of axialfest to do it lol.

I wanted to check this out, but after a full hot day, I just couldn’t make myself stick it out. Especially when they said they’d be walking down to the quarry. 😂

It was still pretty hot even after dark and the waiting at the beginning was almost unbearable. Already hot, no wind or breeze and surrounded by 100+ overheated human bodies was nuts lol. Definitely something I think everyone looks forward to at this event. My suspension wasn’t working well during the night run. Not sure what was up with it, but my jeep doesn’t ride rough like that, at all. For some reason the front shocks looked bagged out or blown out. They weren’t, but they were riding on the shock bodies and stoppers. Really odd.
