Axial UTB18 Capra Unlimited Trail Buggy
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Get ready for a completely new adventure in RC rock crawling. The popular Axial® Capra™ is now available in a whole new scale with the UTB18 Capra™ 4WD Unlimited Trail Buggy. Perfect for indoor or outdoor terrain, the 1/18-scale size makes high-end RC crawling easily affordable and accessible. Fully equipped and ready-to-run, the Axial UTB18 Capra 4WD is similar in design to the popular 1/10 scale Capra 1.9 4WD Unlimited Trail Buggy and has a scaled-down Capra tube chassis. Like the larger trail buggy, the UTB18 Capra also has portal axles, which give the UTB18 Capra extra ground clearance. Add in its axle-mounted, low profile 1/10 scale servo for quick, strong steering and the durable 4-link suspension system, and oil-filled shocks, and the UTB18 Capra is ready to prove that size has nothing to do with crawling performance.

Been thinking about building a small backyard rock course. This is motivation for me to get to work! Cool new rig Axial!!
How about some more 1/6 scale options, like a Wraith or Bomber

Hell Yeah, either one or both!
Too pricey for what it is, especially considering the TRX4M is $150
Drop it $100, oof. Looks great but, FMS and Traxxas have 1/18th locked up right now @ $150 range
The wheels and cage panels make it look like a toy you get from Walmart or target But to be honest besides that it looks really cool I may be interested in getting one
the new ECX Temper Gen 3 LOL

I'd rather get the temper gen 2. It looks nicer, better materials, and it's cheaper!
This looks fun! Just picked up a 4WS Capra so this isn't for me but I do appreciate it when new vehicles hit the market, even if I can't get one.
For $249 i would expect rear steer and less cheap looking. Very disappointed in this one Axial!

Two hundred and fifty dollars, and you'd probably have to spend another one fiddy until it's actually fun and reliable. Nuts!
Cool. wish the 2.2 wraith would come back in 1/18th scale as well.
I think with different wheels and tires, and different shocks that are a bit smaller would fix most of the “toyish” appearance. It just sits so high. More people would be interested in it if it were around $200- $210. Still neat to see though.

We’ll see , I might actually scoop one of these up. $250 is a bit steep but might just be worth it
Just watched through for the second time and not sure what I feel about this. I have the original capra, which I converted to 4ws and i love it, I think it would have been better if this was realised as a 4ws which axial no customers want and would pay for. 4ws would have been awesome. Guess I'll wait for some reviews, but if £250 is correct it sounds steep... john
Those springs looks a bit stiff, are they?
Looks like a cool little rig, opens up some more build options with this great base, great answer to the trx4m

I don't feel the cage and portals are worth the extra hundred from the trx4m in my opinion
That’s sick I can’t wait to get one! Helps the guys out don’t have the room for a 1/10 scale car or the backyard really
Wish they would've made it 4 wheel steer, thats what made me kinda want the 10th scale version...
Good to see theirs more in this scale !
I hope Axial doesn't start putting out hastily designed and built products while assuming the aftermarket will make up for it's flaws.
This reminds me of the vaterra slickrock
This makes me happy. Can't wait to start a build
looking forward to UTB6 in 4ws!
I kinda dig it. I’ll wait until it goes on sale after Christmas though.
Might be a good option to get my kid into her own RC.🙂
THIS. IS EXACTLY WHAT IVE BEEN WANTING!!!!!!
Is this a Lite Brite video with the music?
Nice 👍🏻 😍 👌🏻
Looks sick!
Awesome!!! Hope they've kept the wheel size the same as the 1/18 TRX4M and SCX24's so they'll be loads of tyres to choose from

Ever since the original Axial Racing AX-10 I've been an Axial fan. I've built multiple Axial 1/10 rigs over the years, I've even run their Nitro engines. I sold off all my 1/10 rigs as I wasn't using them because I'm busy with my young family. Then I discovered the SCX24 line up, and I'm back in the game! Great size to build backyard terrain for and even the kids are interested in running them! I was hoping for an epic 1/24 scale rock buggy from Axial to complement our 1/24 scale fleet! Needless to say the 1/18 Capra does not interest me.
lovely 😍
Not sure how I feel about it. Looks like something you get at Walmart lol. Mmmm I think I rather get a TRX4M for a 1/18 scale. Or even the FCX24 looks way better then the Capra. Plus no dig or atleast 2 speed idk. My opinion. Maybe not worth it.
So now something that can compete against the ECX Temper2 and TRX4M. Poor hobby shops 3 class sizes now.

This looks fun!
I like it but the price is awfully high... and as others have said, no rear-steer either. Hmm. Still, I'll take mine in gray please.
Awesome but I agree price is high!
this thing is cool just wish it was an actual 1/18 scale its alot closer to 1/16 or maybe even 1/14
No dig function? $250 for a bigger scaled scx24? While others offering more for less..
Awesome looking rig!! Great job Axial!!🤩👍👍👍
Awesome
Interested, but that trx4m price is much more appealing
Awesome my Capra will have a little brother!!
Bring the xr10 back. I'm not buying another axial unless it's that. I'm tired of bold new graphics and look 4ws. Give us what we want.
This is in the right direction
Yo that's expensive didn't you have a 10th scale capra for close to same price a week ago. Also why make it a 18th scale just so nothing fits from the 24s. Cool rig but for 50 more dollars I can buy a 10th scale.
If it were 4ws then $250 would be worth it. Price too high for me. Even the 10th scale 4ws capra I think is too high. Just my thoughts.
I knew it'd be something juicy!!!
nice axial nice capra😃👍
Axial, what address do you want me to send the 2 defective batteries out of the 4 UTB18’s I bought? I keep sending e-mails and your customer support keeps handing me off to different people and being told over and over again to keep sending what you asked that I already have sent repeatedly. I sent pictures of the receipts, video testing the batteries showing two were defective straight out of the box, and the two good ones to compare with a volt meter, and online the batteries are discontinued so I had to buy the closest spectrum battery I could fit and an had to make my own adapter to get it to work and using single batteries for multiple UTB18’s I was told by multiple customer service reps the warranty for the batteries are the same 2 year warranty as the buggy to the original purchaser with receipts which I have repeatedly provided.
wow!
I'll stick with my modified Wraith it's costly to keep it running I finally got rid of the shite stock electronics now its an animal on everything I hit wouldn't go through that again. 1/18th scale too small for proper trailing and hitting hills
Sweet Rig, but $250 bones?!🤔🤨
I'll take 2 please!!
Funny how so many negative comments with anything g new it seems. I guess I'm just old. I started rcs in 76 and haven't stopped. Back before interwebs, lipos, brushless and other fancy stuff. Before many brands like axial existed. While I dont always like what's out I dont hit the web like a 2 yr old without his favorite toy. However I embrace change. My point is without change we don't get new stuff. Let the market flood with 18th or 12th crawlers...this is great for the market. I can't wait to see what's next from them.

I absolutely agree ❤ I’m old school myself and used to have to solder and desolder and then resolder batteries just to test the cells and 5 minute run times was the best anyone could get and need a car battery with a big charger box just to charge the batteries at races and comps lol. Kids these days can’t fathom how good they have it. Back in our time, aftermarket parts and companies were harder to find that real life unicorns lol. I do miss the old fiberglass and milky white nylon parts that actually held up unlike modern day mass production plastic parts. ❤
I know it's a toy....but it looks very "toyish"
I WANT ONE 🇬🇧✌🏼
It’s like a normal Capra, but a bit crapper! 🤔
Shocks look way oversprung. Still, will probably buy 3 and give a heap of money to backyard CnC companies because Axial is waaay too slow.
Not worth 250. Maybe 170.
would be nice if axial made something true to scale or was at least honest when advertising the scale. This is huge and nowhere near a true 1/18th scale.
Not bad guys. Like button energized.
less toys and more scale... and in unimog for when
The price is definitely on the higher side for this scale but they call the Capra the G.O.A.T. for a reason...
They need to make a baby Ryft
For some reason it looks very toy-ish, just saying.

Wayyyy overpriced.. this is a fail. I’m sorry axial. Also with the scx6 regret buying it till this day. Scx24 is a win but not this. Traxxas for the win on this scale.
I've watched this several times but it still looks like a cheap knock off rc to me for some reason.

scales between 1/10 and 1/24 are very week and unnecessary because you will always get insufficient power and movement capability for outdoor (which means it will be small for outdoor) and you will always insufficient playground indoor (too big for indoor). So why 1/18, i dont know but there should be reasons because 2 major companies R&D depertman come up with these. I am ignoring the prices, because every body can spend a couple more for better car. Or maybe these car just for gift purchases who doesnt know RC etc. In short "Booo Axial" i prefered 1/6 capra or 1/24 buggy or monster truck from you. Edit: I wish we can still able too see how many dislike you get, so we can truly see people like it or not for both trx4m and this
Wrong scale size, steep price.. There’s going to be tons of dead stock for this model. Just wait guys and watch the price drop to the ground.
I got several 1/10 crawlers. The SCX6 is too big for my rock garden, but this could prove very entertaining.
I wont be wastin 250 on that it looks like a walmart rig lmao axial dropped the ball
I wish your vid would give some info on your rigs. This vid was a waste of production time. I guess I'll have to go look somewhere else for actual content. Axial Adventure has really gone downhill from Axil Racing
