Awesome tips. In making some vids my scx24 “fell” into the ocean. It stopped working for two minutes. works fine now. I rinsed it in fresh water and continued filming. It is sluggish now but some cleaning should do it. Should I worry about the lipo and esc?

ive never offroaded with a lipo battery, but i dont think it would be too bad, i would just put some waterproof tape over the connector or build a little water tight box to put the connector in after you plug it in.

So I tried the way you show to get to the rear bearings and no luck the drive shaft won’t come out ? Any tips ? Great video

It's hard to say without taking this car into my hands, but there may be several reasons: 1. The servo is dead (try another servo or use a servo tester) 2. The steering links are blocked (unscrew the servo horn and check that the steerign links work freely) 3. The ESC is broken (unplug the servo and check pin voltage with a multimeter) 4. The servo plug is loose 5. The batterry in the controller is weak 6. The remote controller is broken

Once you put mail polish on the unused pins, can you later plug something in to them like lights etc? Or does that make it so the pins are unusable?

First you need to remove the nail polish from pins.

Where did you get the brass nuts to hold your tire on?

Does it matter what colored nail polish you use to waterproof

The color of the nail polish does't matter. However, the transparent one is much easier during a possible repair of the electronics.

I used hot glue on my ESC for water resisting
