Dam you axial I just bought the trx4 Cheyenne high trail edition an then you guys come out with that badass rig my favorite truck an one my favorite colors baby blue I wish I could get one but can't cause I live paycheck to paycheck so can't get one at all

No inner fenders, exposed body clips, one piece body with pretty ugly big gussets on the back of the cab joining the bed, and still with the same transmission with a clicking noise, and too close in ratio 2 speed gearbox. Other than that it looks great, lol I do love Axial and own many but lately they seem to leave a bit more desired. Maybe I'm being too hard on them. P.S. ...is that the old Vaterra grill? lol

Mine just arrived today! October 23rd in the AM. I’m already out on the rocks with a couple of my Element rigs. Wish I had a transporter. Scotty! Beam me my Axial! Lol. Unboxing coming later today!!!!!!!
The best detail about that rig is those pain in the ass mirrors I had on my 86 Scottsdale..

Are they already available?? And where can I attain one?? This is my exact truck from high school. Got it brand new almost the same color n everything. Yeah $600 is steep for this kinda rig but if you don’t like it don’t buy it that simple lol I love it just for the nostalgia. Do I need to spend more money on fuckin toys just to keep myself entertained. Hell no, I should be spending it on other more important shit like starting my own Oil Drilling Company or Hauling and cleanup companies but will that make me a happy man when I don’t have time for anything else but my work and business? No . . . No it won’t. I’d have a lot more money possibly yes but that’s not happiness. I’m content with what I’m doing now on the oil rigs and I’m content with my pay, everything. Now that my kids are grown and on their own journeys I can enjoy the time and things I never got to have as a child. . . . And it’s awesome 😂 idgaf what anyone else says or thinks. nice truck!!! at that price range though...i have a few complaints. Those body clips are an eye sore. The body looks like it's wiggling around WAY too much jumping off that rock. and SCREAMING need for some sliders as the rocker panels and bottom of doors flapping around. otherwise.....refreshing to see its not another bronco jeep or yota

' i have one good R/C tamiya F-350 truck and paint spray on light baby blue and gray... also painted 3 colors on the rear taillights... add LED lights on the top truck with 3rd channel R/C
It's the 10 iii with visible body clips that don't seem right great looking truck though

As far as everything has come you would think they would do a little more. But at least it's not as expensive as the Gladiator picked up proline edition. 😅🤣

100% agree. Way to much jeep stuff. We need power wagons,ram chargers, Toyota hilux’s, land cruisers, a ford escape would be odly cool, the ford f100 needs to come back into production and stay! I feel like they are back stepping with there bodies, they were really on to something with the 10.3 early bronco now back to floppy cheap bodies? I don’t get it 🤦♂️

Price seems inline with Horizon Hobbies custom build, maybe a little cheaper. Proline shocks, Proline tires, no inner fenders, visible body clips, the only thing that's different is the body. I like the Chevy stepside but overall I think they missed the mark.
No sliders and the side of the body flaps around. Sweet freakin body but that bugs me. Body clips and no inner fenders. Are those portals? Yikes.

600 bucks is a bit overpriced for this. Also it needs a white roll bar

Wow 600 bucks for what that's crazy. And nothing special about it so it's got a couple of proline pieces I'll stick with with base camp or one of the jeeps.
At least it's not a Jeep, Bronco or Toyota...that's about all I can say.

Step side beds don’t look better than regular beds . For a 40th anniversary I would have chosen a different body. Also they went with stickers for door handles . They lost me on that . Oh and body pins should be outlawed on all new rc cars. Especially Tamiya. There cars are so slow they don’t even need body clips lol . But they have stunning bodies .
And yet it still has body posts... sigh. Great otherwise.
