If that all thread stuff is hollow how bout filling it with lead! Hell yeah, beats the hell out of $90 for those steel linkages I want but can't justify to save my life.

Some 2000 grit wet dry sand paper will make those links shine. Great video.

Thank you, CodesEmpire ! It was fun getting my hands dirty a bit and doing something outside of my "norm". Next I'll be building some steering links. Then I need to get my lighting situation squared away. #funtimes

Great job man. To let you know though the travel links on a Traxxas Big EREVO are exactly the length of the factory links on the SCX10. They are the same end as you bought and they are solid steel to give the buggy a little more lower weight in the chassis. So eight links to buy for your SCX10 and make it four link front and back are about $18 and you can still have a little adjustment to clock your axle if you want. Found out playing with mine and having extra parts from many other rc buggy's at the house. Have fun PART#5318

I Used Stainless Steel All-thread that I ran all the way through Carbon Steel 1/4" OD .035 wall tubing (works well an will rust/scar well I do believe) (1 foot Stainless steel All-Thread =$1 each, I got 6 foot) (6 foot Carbon Steel tubing =$12 Including shipping) (12 Traxxas Rod Ends =$6 each, I got 2 packs) 30 bucks I built upper and lower links an have enough to do another set plus Steering links....

Hey I know this video isn't exactly brand new but is very useful information but I have a question do you believe these are truly adorable in other words do you think that they would work on a monster truck or do you think that they would bend almost immediately

He doesn't seem to like to answer questions..... The All Thread would be either 8-32 or 4mm. Either threads into the REVO Links. Whichever is easier for you to get.
