I love mine as well...it is heavily modified though.The best thing I have done so far is convert the transmission to a standard 3 gear with rear dig...

Proven platform. I would love another one. I have 3 axial based custom built trucks. Smt10 with custom tig welded chassis, wraith with castle brushless setup, aluminum upgrades all over, hardend spiral cut ring and pinion, the axial u joint shafts( a worthwhile upgrade for extreme use) and I also custom built my own rock bouncer , you welded my own custom frame, ar 60 housings with awesome guts, incision u joint driveshafts, overdrive/ underdrive gearing in both housings, with 2.2 hyrax, dual stage foams, holmes hobbies shv800 servo, mamba x esc, 3800kv motor........i spent waaaaayyyyyy too much in rc

I won't buy anything based on the fact that it has cool stickers. A Bomber is a Bomber. Awesome trail truck, one of my faves. Stickers are cute, but I'm hoping people aren't willing to pay more for them. It sets a bad precedent the companies will follow. Pretty soon, AARMA will want more for trucks cuz they put a couple GIJoe's in it.

I have an Axial Bomber. Axial has been trying to ring dollars out of this platform now for many, many years. How? By improving it? No. By changing the paint on the plastic body panels. So, it is no surprise that it is a terrible unit straight out of the box. The electronics are cheap - the servo is utterly useless. But the worst thing about the vehicle are the links - all plastic. I've never seen plastic links in a unit built by what is considered a major manufacturer (i.e., not a fly-by-night Asian manufacturer...). It results in a vehicle that rides and steers like an noodle. Unless you are willing to spend several hundred dollars to make this thing worth what you paid for it out of the box, stay away.

Seriously?!! What was that crap? Hey Axial, perhaps you could do a much better job from now on making a video that may display the models abilities, qualities and usefulness for someone in the market for a new RC. This video is worse than even a Canadian TV commercial. If you’re not gonna put any effort into these videos that display your vehicles for sale perhaps you should send them to me to accentuate their qualities.
