So far...the most pleasant to watch axel jumps came from Alyona Kostornaya...it’s a complete package! ELEGANCE+PROPER EXECUTION+GREATER ICE COVERAGE+GREAT HEIGHT+TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES BEGINNING AND EXIT....

Black Pearl Kim well...nobody’s perfect...but for sure, Alyona is still young and can mend it.

Yasss axelssss, definetily the most beautiful jump when executed well! The forward entry makes it so gracefull, and no ugly, messy toe assists

I think in general edge jumps just look nicer? The toe loop and flip I think look fine but honestly even a properly performed lutz seems ugly to me. Even when I’m skating I don’t want to put them in my programs really becuase you have to go all the way out of your way to take yourself into a corner. I just think it interrupts the flow and is hard to connect with other stuff.
