Very nice axe work, brother. I'm doing the green carving on a Christmas eating spoon for my dear old mom, right now or... I'm taking a breather now, and about to get back. hah Cherry. And I'm going to kolrose. Love your channel. 👍👍

@andyspoons I'll see what I can do! I'm mostly a thrower of shuriken, come to youtube, but I once made a quick video about spoon carving for the champion knife thrower Adam Celadin, when he expressed an interest in the topic. KZread doesn't much like to let me post links, but if this works, you can see what my spoons are like... kzread.info/dash/bejne/pqd4qriKktWxYKg.htmlsi=-hyLI6am13av5XmZ

@andyspoons I just finished up that cherry spoon, and shot a little one minute vid of burnishing the kolrosing. I'd be honored if you'd give me a critique. 🙂👍

Don't. Oak is beautiful but it has a molecular structure that makes it unsuitable for anything that has to go into hot liquids.

I don’t honestly get the whole ASMR thing. I watch to learn technique…want the noises of this process to relax you? Folks need to really try it and try hard. It’s so relaxing. As a society we are living life way too fast anymore. Things like this are what people used to do a lot. Society needs to relearn how to slow down and smell the roses

@@GT_Racer347 So Andy should write normally the Granfors Brook ax and so on. I also have a problem with English. KZread still doesn’t allow you to copy the text so you can translate it right away. That's why ASMR thought that this was the name of the axe, although it is clear that this is Sweden
