lyhthegreat yes aka means 赤(red). It is come from Chinese word 赤子 (red kid). It means baby is in red colour before they have hair or eyebrows. It also means people who are pure in Chinese.

Thenybo may wanna lay off the romaji and learn kanji. [ 赤 ] and [ 垢 ] are two different words with the same pronunciation.
