What’s CSgo

Genius is a word massively overused in modern times... but for me, this man is a genius. Lyrically simple songs with bottomless meaningful depth and melodies that make you feel like someone is carrying you on their shoulders. It's mesmerizing addictive, unique and beautiful. The live sets are incredible, the band is sensational.

I went to a Fall Out Boy concert the other day and AWOLNation played before they went on. When they performed this song it was one of the most magical moments I have ever experienced at a concert. Amazing band, incredible performers.

Haven't heard this in years... already missing the early to mid 2010s 🥺

Came back here cos I haven't listened to awolnation in a while, and now I'm addicted (again). They are back on top of my favourite bands list :D

I'm 40 years old and my first concert ever was Awolnation RUN. The reason why it was my first concert, they are one of the few bands that I think it is worth my time and money to see live. I think the music is deeper then it appears. Of course this is just my opinion, I do love the music.

This is one of my favorites off the album who am I kidding I love every song on the album and this video is so cool!!

I need to get on

I was deeply attracted by the piano parts and strong beats at the first time.But when I pay attention the lyrics and loop again and again this song.I started get the ideas or inspirations that we shouldn’t obsess by the past whether if they were good or bad,right or wrong. So many regrets no good for our life to move on just say these established present ourselves as well as the pathway of become mature❤

I love how in both this video and in the one for bad wolf there is so much movement and life around the lead singer, while he himself stays still in comparison. The contrast brings a strange focus and fascination to looking at him and listening to his words, despite the lack of showy movement on his part.

This song was played at my best friend's funeral last week. Hard to keep it together when I hear it, but also hard to not play it too.

Awolnation was so critical about the release of this song but I have to give 2 thumbs up. I come to Awolnation when I need a pick me up which is everyday and everyone of their songs have delivered this for me especially this song. Something about their music makes me feel positive and good about myself and the world we live in. I am because of all of these things that's just who I am.

after several years of listening still can not get what things made who he is.

His voice is something I never heard before. Need to catalogue.

This video makes me feel but I don't know what. Fear? Excitement? Inspired? Uncomfortable? Admiration? Respect? I don't know.

My kids introduced me to AwolNation. I like their sound. I wasn't sure about the video when it first started until he got to the chorus. LOVED it....all the different people reminded me of all the experiences we have in our lives. How it shapes us into who we are...good and bad and the baggage we bring into every relationship we have. Cool video guys. Love the song...

That closure is just beautiful... Every soft part of this song is very distinctive. And back instruments play do much part to elevate the distinct feel (in a good way)

Seen them at the house of blues chicago today, best concert I've ever been too and I've already seen them twice before. AWOLNATION rocks

My interpretation: When he' feeling alone & when times get tough ...where are his friends to help him through it? Did he drive them away, did they leave? Then everyone pops up in the video.. they were always there...in one way or another ..whether he see's them or not. And he reflects on his life's events thinking 'Maybe all of these things made me who I am'. The lyric 'only looking up when my heads down' i've heard before... you can't see the great things around and above you if you are looking at the ground. Therefore, you can't see all those around you that they are there for you.. which would lead up to why he wants 'you to know' like in the video..they are all connected and with you all the time...wherever you go. BUT the 'hypnotized from the day you were born' I'm drawing a blank.

AWOL! Never disappoint me. Lyrics, choreography, song, rhythm. I'm either crying or furiously head banging. I'm a fan now.

One day i was scared and i dont know why but this and awolnation itself helped. thanks alot to them for making songs!

I think the music video isn't about individuality as much as... all these things, all these people around him? Made him who he is. They all came together in a way that created him as he is, and he is part of creating other people in a similar way from another perspective--but from his own perspective, he's the center of a spiral that has him as the focal point because from his perspective, everything around him affects him. Idk if that was the intention, but I saw people discussing the video, and that's what I got out of it. Not necessarily that he's special for being individual, more than he has all these things around him to thank for being as he is in the first place.

My Georgia Studies teacher played this during class, some people sang the chorus and it was so exciting! I was so hyped. made my day.

This was their golden age. My favorite of theirs for sure. Good memories.

I've been in love with Aaron Bruno for about nine years now and I swear 90% of it has to do with his arms... bloody hell.

To the future generations dont let this song be forgotten.

I absolutely love the new album! I see alot of haters saying it wasn't as good as Metallic Symphony. I honestly think Run came more from the heart and not based on what people like. As Aaron said, it's an album for music lovers.

Aaron Bruno and Rationale are probably the 2 most gifted musical geniuses we have today and they are both so underrated its a damn crime!!
