Some fandoms may be cringy, toxic or edgy, but let's not forget that, even in the most toxic of fandoms, there are also good people who produce good stuff. Let's not forget about that and allow people to be themselves and not poke fun of them for what they like. Also, the reason why people connect this song with many fandoms is because the song is about a villain who went through some kind of redemption, there are many other characters like that and that's why people use it so much, to the point when it became overused :/ (which doesn't mean the song is cringy, it's actually really good)

this fandom didn't used to always be this toxic and horrible. there was a time when the brony fandom was in a golden age. the positivity filled the fandom. the horror content people pointed to was all made for entertainment some like it darker than others. i don't to mention the r34 pictures as EVERY fandom has it. its not exclusive to mlp. there were just as many if not much more wholesome fanart of mlp. but that is an age past. i left at the end of season 5. i didn't enjoy where the show was headed. i think somewhere deep down i knew what direction it was going. it was getting more and more grounded to reality as well as becoming more and more "toy driven" i say "toy driven" as in if hasbro came out with a new toyset then the writers had to find some way to incorporate that into the show. leading to many jaring and frankly incoherent plotholes and dropped storylines as time went on. the more it got grounded the more toxic people came. once the snakes are in they multiply and spread like cancer and its impossible to cut it out. i am honestly glad i wasn't here to see it slowly devolve from a place of positivity that incomprehensibly saved lives, including my own, to this pit of negativity. there used to be a genuine sense of community in the brony fandom. one that welcomed you with open arms. i don't see that anymore in the fandom. in a sense you could relate this song to someone who was in an originally positive and community filled fandom, "woke up" to the realization of what the fandom they had loved had become. they realized this isn't the fandom they once knew and had to leave and cut it out of their lives. that sentiment can be applied to many people in many different fandoms.

The lyrics are fairly neutral; if you know what's beïng referred to, it's easy to spot references, but it's fairly applicable to any number of edgy characters and situations. Sure, the picture on the video is MLP, but at the time, that was just WoodenToaster's avatar; one could be forgiven for simply thinking of it as a creätor putting their stamp on their creätion, a common practice both then and now. Just some food for thought

"Cringey fandoms" are just a natural byproduct of something being wildly popular for any period of time. MLP's fandom got weird when it hit it's largest wave of "counterculture" popularity. And the reason Undertale was so toxic was due to the same thing. Almost worse because it got even bigger. But the common thread with all of these fandoms is that some truly great things came from all of them, despite some loudmouthed people annoying others on the internet.

RAINB0W P0NY The FNaF fandom are gaining followers from the early release of FNaF 4 whilst the bronies are taking heavy hits as people don't want to be associated as one. Looks like the Bronies may finally fall, the fight was large but it may be ending.

THE FANDOM CAN NEVER DIEEEEEE!!!!!

Now that MLP:FIM is over and no more fan-songs are made (as if people did since like 2016) I just wanted to mention how good these times were. We all probably grew up with this show and these songs. All the mystery behind Rainbow Factory. I remember being scared of the official music video. That's just why I didn't really listen to these songs that much but I was still surprised that I did remember 85% of the words and English isn't even my first language. That's how powerful these songs are.

Yeah, no like the other person said, there's still people making mlp inspired music to this day. Hell, Ponies at Dawn is a shining example of this. Princewhateverer put out a song about Sweetiebot like a week ago. Pony music's still alive, you just gotta know where to look.

Three years after I stopped being a pegasister, I'm coming back on this gem. Oh god how I love this song, I think it's my favourite among every other Woodentoaster songs, and also the one that doesn't have a decent remix and is better in it's original form. The power emerging from this track is insane, and I love H8_Seed. I'm proud to have been in this fandom, as cringy as it could have been, because the level of creativity in this community is astonishing and so beautiful.

tbh something I love about this (especially now since I'm out of the fandom) is that there's really no direct reference to mlp/rainbow factory so it's just a universally dope song

Shadow's Amazing Imagination! Why make a "good quality" game in a month when you can spend a few months to make a great quality game? Seriously, I'm skeptical of the individual games' quality. From what I've seen, they retexture things and tweak the gameplay slightly. Maybe a few more background details they could have saved up to make one large game instead of a few small ones that are marginally better than the previous. Breaking it up into several small games is generally a ploy to make more money with minimal effort. I'm not accusing the creator of this, but saying why I distrust the concept.

This song still bangs so hard, such a unique grunge sound, I'm no genre expert so I wouldn't know what it'd be other than electronic but it sounds so 'factoral'. I can't tell if that's just predisposition to the fact it IS based off a factory essentially, but it sounds so good.

Someone at my homeless shelter was listening to this. I sat down next to him and found out he was a brony. This song gave me the will to live and is the reason I still exist. thank you for giving me the motivation to out my life back together WoodenToaster and a good friend to go along with it... *hugs*

Yes. I'm homeless on the streets. One word of advice. Do not donate to the salvation army. 16 people died out of Salvation army MATTS homeless shelter in Warren last year. They where good respectful people that got screwed over for missng curfew for missing the bus. They kicked me out two days ago worst night of the year.
