Thank you Thomas for featuring me! 😁 My goal is to have a style like akathejellyfish. I want to grow it for at least one more year and I will definitely not shave my head or cut it drastically. I think I will keep the length till I get bored.

I'm really liking the awkward stage videos! Everyone has a different definition of what the awkward stage is.. mine is between your eyes and your chin. Mine has just now reached my lips.. so I'm powering through with HOPEFULLY only another 3-4 months before it starts sliding through that final stage at my chin... these videos really make it easier to keep pushing!!

I absolutely hate it when guy's shave all that luscious hair. It's like what's the point of growing it out then shaving it all off? To be honest I say it's COMPLETELY pointless.

Very inspiring, thanks for posting. I'm an old guy and I haven't had long hair since my teens. I've been growing my hair for about six months, the reason is I don't wish to comply exactly with societal norms. My hair is thick and the awkward stage seems to take a long while to get through.
I’ve been growing my hair out for over 4 years, and let me tell you it was worth the wait! Great video
I got my pixie/pompedour hair style re-cut in November 15th, 2019 and now it is February 23rd, 2020! I have grown my hair out again for 3 months. I am honestly letting it grow all the way out again back to 22” inches again. My hair is naturally thin & curly so i have really smooth wringlets when it gets longer. So i’m super excited to see the hair growth progress in 6 months time! I am currently working on taking progress photos every month or every other week and every month! So like, i’ll take a photo at the beginning of March & at the end of March & then the beginning of April and the end of April etc. and i’ll be taking a lot of photos until my hair all grows out or until i get a short bob! And then I may let u feature my video in ur channel when it is made ;) i subscribed too!
I'm on my 5th month of growing my hair. Gotta say sometimes I got that temptation to cut, but I've stand my ground so far.
I've been growing out my hair since November 22, 2017 and I started with an undercut spike up top and I'm growing my hair out for a top knot undercut! I can't wait until it's fully grown, I've watched your past videos on hair growth tips and they actually work, my hair has grown one fourth of an inch in 1 week! Thanks for all those tips, u are a great help and my hair is 2 and a half inches ( I know it's really short right now, but I have the patience for it to grow, I mean, I think it's worth it)! Thx again

Well look who has reached the Jon Snow hair length 😉 Also growing my hair out, but mine is nowhere near as curly as yours, a little jealous 😁

Four and a half months into my hair growth and I have very good volume hair like the second guy so I’m excited to see how it turns out!
So happy to find this I’m a curly hair boy too feel like we have to pick different types of styling
This is my first time Growing my Hair and its been almost 5 Months since i Started and its getting awkward BUT its good to see there are others that have passed these difficult times 😉😁
I m at that stage too ... but I’ll keep going ! Recently made a curly hair Video before finding your channel ...
I love seeing stuff like this. I currently have short hair but I have long hair by default. The longest I've gone is 2 years! I didn't even get a trim. My hair was passed my shoulders andcould touch my nipple if I pulled it straight. I've gone from shoulder length to a high-fade 3 times now and its always a sad feeling, but also refreshing!
I grew my hair out for 3 years and just recently cut off all 13 inches of it about two weeks ago. so hyped to be going through the process of growing again.
I needed this all my friends are saying I should just go back and cut my hair again
I'm now at 11 month of hair growth ,I started from all buzzed head my goal is at least 3 years and I'm happy to see that people do hair growth videos and that motivates me more
ive been growing my hair out for 5 months and im going for a mick jagger 1968 look. i was actually considering quitting, then i saw this video and decided to keep going, so thank you

Keep growing bro nice hair
Hey Thomas, I just started growing my hair out and I watched all your videos so far, great encouragement!!!! I have semi wavy hair and I hate using a blow dryer because it completely straightens out my hair and takes the "uniqueness" out of it. I am currently using Crew Fiber and I apply it when my hair is wet (what I want to do with a new product) and it hardens as my hair dries. Do you know any products I can use that I can apply to keep the wavy/curly look that dries so I can still put my hands through it? Thanks!
Just started also from an undercut. this boosted my confidence and will to keep it growing, now just hope my boss likes it too😬. These puffy sides really sucks
I'm shaving my head on a month and I needed this video so much
I always feel my hair is shit at growing by the time lapses make me realize it’s pretty fast. I’m on my 6th month, started with short hair and it’s almost passing my chin. Thanks for this video. Keeps me motivated.

Grow it out man, mines 23-24 inches whilst its curly, so imagine it straightened your hair grows 1 inch every month, along with your facial hair if your growing it out in the future. Much love for your future goal.

Hey there. I have had a short haircut for the past year or so and ive decided to grow it long again, i shaved my head the other week so i coukd start my journey, and im so excited to get my mane back. I miss it so much

Interesting video Thomas!!! I just reached month 6 and the awkward wavy staged just starded 😭
Darn u makin me impatient to get that hair man! Wish my hair was more wavy...
That second video by Ghooper was very inspiring given that I just recently shaved my head.
Nice video thomas and i am on my hair journey
I'm joining the journey.honestly I grew my hair for 3 months and it was looking nice but then I messed up on my edge up in the back and my hairline was looking bad so I decided to cut it down again now I have to start over. I had a quick question, how often should I line up my hairline when growing my hair out?I don't trust going to the barbershop for a lineup because they usually trim some off and you know that's like depleting my growth.
This video is great!! My 5 year old son has blonde curly hair and we are growing out his bangs!! Looking for tips on how to hold his bangs out of his eyes in this awkward stage??

I have essentially the exact same hair has the second guy, hopefully this is enough to keep me from cutting it.
I tried to grow my hair out once before last winter and I gave in and cut it. I am attempting again. I started June and is now July so I am in 1 month growth now from pretty short. The top isn't that short but the back and sides were almost shaved. It gets so difficult to grow it because I like my hair short... usually shaved. with a fade. longer top. like james dean pretty much ... I am hoping to get it at least like yours in this video. I have very thick, curly type 2 wave hair. let's hope I can do it this time
The fact that this vid is 10 minutes makes me happy
I’m gonna commit to growing out my hair for a year and see where it goes
This is great. My mom doesn't really care if I grow my hair long except my dad always telling me to cut my hair but I won't listen because Borneo natives back then grow hair pretty long.
I am still growing out my undercut for about a half a months now and yee im in awkward stage now and its october first can't wait to grow all my hair into a full man bun ehehe

As an advice, hats are your best friends, specially beanies and baseball caps
I can’t remember how long I’ve been growing my hair for now :(
Good video! Greetings from Spain 👋
i’m growing out my hair but do i need to cut the top because my hair on my head reaches my chin and my sides are short?
i was going to re-do my undercut , ive been growing it since august 17 and its only grown 6.5cm but seeing your hair is amazing , but i have seen my hair when it was longer with the beatles haircut so i dont know , seeing im in the process and throwing it all away is painfull
My hair is now in 5 months ... my hair was rly freaking short fade so is not thatttt long yet but let’s go on this journey cuz I’m liking it
Bruh this makes me want to grow my hair out. After all this quarantine and shit, I haven’t gotten to cut my hair. So it’s pretty long. But my hair is always thick and bushy like the first dude. Makes me wonder if I could actually do this.
I first watched this video when I just started to grow out my hair.. Now I'm back with a long hair now
I’m currently going through the awkward phase. I can’t style it. It gets in my eyes. Not long enough on the sides to pull up yet. But I’m not giving up. I know my Gail and I can wait patiently for it because I know the end result is in the horizon
Hey Thomas! I decided to let my hair grow and get a full bun, but my question is: would you recommend starting by a half bun (keeping the hair short on the sides) amd then go for the full bun when you already can do the half bun? Would this help with the awkward face? Thanks for your help! ❤
Thnxxx it was really helpful...🤗
I really really need an advice. Ive been growing my hair for my 5 months now and im in the awkward stage, my mind says i need a haircut but i dont want to. What should i do?
i love your hair so much
I currently have an awkward stage mullet. It's not bad, but the back is way longer than the front and sides... I haven't really had my hair trimmed for the past 4 months. My only thing is that I want my hair to be long when the next school year starts (about 1 month) so I'm scared to go in and get it cut.
Im inlove with them curls
If I try to grow from an undercut ( 3 inches on top and shaved sides) will it look weird and uneven? I’m trying to grow a full man bun and I feel like it will look wonky and uneven. Also what do you reccomend to hide during the awkward stage? My school doesn’t allow hats or beanies and tend to point out messy hair.
Hey Thomas I'm just shaved my hair and now I'm gonna grow my hair out for a year and a half
I'm a girl and I've been growing out my pixie cut for about a year now. Happy with my 9 inches of growth so far
How did you get those curls man. I have straight thin hair and that's why I never am able to grow them long because after a point they look ugly as hell. Should I get some curls done from the barber shop?
Hi Thomas, i've been growing my hair 11 months now from a buzz cut & i noticed recently that my left side (thick & with volume) is waayy thicker than my (very thin flat) right side and it's getting more noticeable now. Is there any other way (besides cutting it) that i can get it to look more even? I don't want to cut it because it took a lotta work to get it this long.
I’ve been growing out for 4ish months and it’s probably got about 1 more month till it gets curly and I think I’m gonna do St.Baldrics at my school cause they clean shave you and all your hair goes to kids with cancer so I’m gonna do that in like a month and then grow mine out for a year to👍🏻
I'm extremely worried because I think I might go through an awkward phase because I used to have curly-ish hair and I straightened it to death for years and cut it. So I wonder if I might have straight hair when I grow it out or if my naturally curly-ish hairstyle will come back.
Do you mind if I ask for some advice? I've been trying to grow out my hair since, about February. I've got very very thick, coarse, frizzy and wavy hair. It was at a very good length but I went to a barber two days ago just to get it tamed a little bit and even thin it out a bit. Should I keep trying to grow it out? Family members keep badgering me to cut it, it's really wearing me down now. should I keep at it, given the type of hair I have?
"He's very dreamy isn't he?" -Thomas 4:36
working slowly but surely for a blowout bun
Do you advise to cut the sides and back when growing hair? Undercut? Or just let it all grow top back and sides? The sides and back of my hair really grow quick so not sure what to do?
I'm going full viking. My curly hair gonna bang. I'm starting from a no 2 fade to the skin. So a true grow out. Shoulda started pics while ago. Mines full af like 2nd dude... it gets moppy and dony know how to control it
I'm starting mine now not far off a skinhead.. hear it goes 🤞🏻
This makes me regret not making one of these when I started growing my hair out
I wanna grow out my hair like Max. Did he get haircuts in between to grow out like that? Mine doesn't quite come out that way.

I just started growing my hair out it’s been only a month but I will keep going no matter what obstacle is put in my way it will be destroyed. Anyways my motive to grow my hair long is to get the look of an 80s rockstar. Examples are Bon Jovi, Nixxi Sixx, Ozzy Osborne and others. Practically I want my hair to have volume and look crazy like an 80s rockstar. 🤟🤟

It’s very windy where I live and impossible to maintain so I’m forced to wear a hat every day. Any tips on good products that will hold it but not irritate my scalp or skin if I sweat?
