I remember watching this back in college . This was staged in UP Theater. I must say this is by far the best pinoy musical Ive ever seen. Hope there will be remake of this one!

I saw a copy of the full production here in YT last year, but the owner deleted the account, and so the rest of the clips were gone. Thank you for saving this part. I love this production way better than the recent. This is perfection. I wonder how Basil Valdez and Kuh Ledesma's performance were?

wish napanood ko yung video... I also watched this at UP Theater when I was still a student at UP, si Raymond Lauchengco at Lani Misalucha ang lead role na napanood ko. Sana inulit ito, excatly the same characters and artists.

No, because the epic RAYAMAYANA although has roots in India, finds a home in all Southeast Asian countries because of Indian influence. This play is just our way of re-telling the story that was brought to our shores. 😊

the very first production is at ccp. With Kuh Ledesma, Ric segreto, Eugene villauz and bituin escalante entitled Rama Hari with Ballet Philippines 🇵🇭. Rama at sita at UP followed 14 years later.
