I don't understand the fascination people have with Crab, it's expensive, you don't get much meat, and it's messy. I much prefer scallops and a nice piece of swordfish on the grill. Usually hit a seafood stand and have a giant boil at the rental house. Glad you had a good time.

I fell in love with this place last year and ate here 3x on our trip. I looked this up to pump myself up when we go back in 2 weeks.

We are going to OBX again in August and we already know this is the first stop!

You are truly doing G-ds work,Jerry. Love the Sharney's shirt. I wonder what restaurants Val Verde would have in the Hawk universe? I would love to see an episode or two with Mike as a guest,and tour restaurants of Howell or Bayonne NJ.

Disagree completely. My wife and I have been visiting the OBX for years and decided to give this place a shot down in the Avon area. We were so disappointed in the food, both qty and quality. I know a lot of people like the place but it seems really overrated to me.
