They make it all look so easy and quick but I do these very projects and they aren't as simple nor quick as this video appears but fun to watch. I have about 30-40 pallets in my yard now preparing to make pallet furniture and planning a diy pool maybe next year. It's a lot of work.

How will you drain the pool? These are all good ideas that are cost effective, but I’d hate to be the one having to empty the pool when the time comes.

That's not a negative question... I was thinking the same thing. Just genuinely really would like to know what the solution would be for draining/cleaning it.

Some really cool things you came up with, sure they would be a hit in anyone's backyard. Better ck. how small your pool needs to be in a City to be made without a permit. 👍

Thanks so much, I really enjoyed the video (music nice too). Had a friend, Master Carpenter who would show me how to make things. Shelfs to my radiator covers. He moved away & I miss it. Loved the pool & fence hack using seatbelt lock. Keep them coming.

I highly doubt that pool structure will last for long... there's no support to prevent the soil from pushing into the pool. 😮

The water weight holds the walls in place; just like an aboveground pool. I'd put a chlorine ball in and you'd need to regularly test the water. Which most pool supply stores do free. But, like another mentioned, because there's no filtration you'd need to be hyperviligent about bacteria, fungi, etc.. Also, you'd need a small pool vacuum for removing any dirt and debris from the bottom. Actually you'd treat it the same as an aboveground pool. I have a saltwater aboveground pool.

​@Christi Adams yeah, this is great but without a filtration system... well, hope they enjoyed it for that one day. Lol. It's not a bad idea at all, but keeping up with that water would take away all joy it might otherwise bring. Not that difficult to add a filter once you're that invested already either. 🤷🏽‍♀️

You don't always need a filter. Alot of the stock tank pools out there today don't have one. That's the beauty of these tiny pools. Easier to clean and low maintenance. People are getting away from those larger costly amenities these days
