Awesome Things to Do in Bahrain!

Welcome to Bahrain! 🐪☀️⛵🏝️ A nation made up of around 30 small islands in the Arabian / Persian Gulf, it's the Middle Eastern country you've sort of heard of but know next to nothing about. And you certainly wouldn't be able to point it out on a map. Am I right? Don't worry, me too 😅
That may well be because firstly, it's tiny. It's the third smallest nation in Asia after the Maldives and Singapore. Nestled between Saudi Arabia and Qatar, Bahrain could fit inside Greater London - twice. But you know what they say, the best things come in small packages 💥
I completely fell for the place. Or to be more precise, I fell for the country and its people 💙 Here's a video of just some of the awesome things you can get up to in this super cool little country 😁
Don't forget to check the accompanying blog post with more info on each stop: 9 Awesome Things to do in Bahrain www.thecutlerychronicles.com/2...
If you want to skip to certain parts of the video, here are some quick links to take you straight there:
0:56 The ART Rotana Hotel, Bahrain
1:24 Epic Bahraini breakfast spread at Saffron by Jena
1:50 Bahraini halwa factory
2:02 Traditional old architecture at Al Jasra House
2:17 French-inspired cafe food at Cafe Lilou
2:27 Tried my hand at pottery at the Al Jasra Handicrafts Centre!
4:39 Getting lost in Manama Souq with localppl.com
6:06 Visiting the farmer's market with Chef Susy Massetti
6:43 Cooking class with Chef Susy at her gorgeous home
7:31 Feeding baby camels at the Royal Camel Farm
7:56 Checking out the Unesco World Heritag listed and ancient Bahrain Fort
8:09 Kayaking and a BBQ on the beach with Beach Culture
If you have any questions about my list of awesome things to do in Bahrain, let me know below and I'll be sure to get back to you!

I was living in Bahrain for 6.5 years and my experience was amazing.Bahrain is a very open country you can drink alcohol ,they have bars, you can walk drunk as long as you don't hurt anybody, you can eat pork, women can wear anything they want, the only thing that they don't have is a nice beach to swim like Dubai. But generally Bahrain is much more open and cheaper than Dubai.Bahrainis are very friendly and accommodating and they don't look down on you whatever race you have.. Initially I felt homesick but then when I found out that there are a lot of Filipino store and restaurant then I was able to carry myself up and there are a lot of Filipinos working in the Hospital just like I do and in the hotel or malls.Thank you Bahrain!!

@@LeylaKazim I hope it isn't too late to answer. It is the Tree of Life actually. Sofatell is the closest hotel to the tree. The Tree is ancient and in the middle of the desert. It lived there without source of water and without anyone to care for. It is said that its roots dug so deep under the island. So Bahrain took it as a sign of dedication and resilience against harsh life.

Man, such a great country. my dad left for Bahrain at 20years in 1985. He saw life in Bahrain from drinking salty water and cooking from kerosene stoves to smartphones in everyone's hand, poor or rich. I was born in Bahrain. We had to resettle in India after my dad retired in 2018. Worst decision ever. Quality of life and manners of people here are nothing compared to life in Bahrain. God willing I will soon land back in my home Bahrain. Funny thing, this video is posted just a month after we left Bahrain
