I've seen this mod 5 times already last year, but figure why the hell not watch tetra play it!

I'm honestly suprised that 3D All Stars didn't do this, what we got was ok, but the limited time thing sucked.

Man, that's one of the best Odyssey mods I've ever seen! :D Here's hoping they'll make another one where it contains the 5 Silver Star Mission from Super Mario 64 DS some time in the future (I guess Purple Coins would function as a Silver Star, though, the normal Power Stars could work too)!

What about Moon Shards? It's literally the same thing

The only thing that bothers me with these custom Odyssey maps is that the footsteps always sound like you're walking on cheap wooden planks, no matter the actual surface

I would really go super crazy too but Nintendo just ripped content straight from the original consoles, upscale them and put 0 effort into remastering them.

I'm not sure why so many people insist you can't take the shortcuts while racing Koopa the Quick. It's always only been the penguin that gets mad if you cheat.

You're half right. I had a brain lapse on the warps - you can use the warps when racing Koopa the Quick, but you cannot use the cannons. Doing so will forfeit the race as he considers it cheating

I’m interested in using an emulator, but I’m unsure what’s good out there. I’ve heard dolphin is pretty good. Any recommendations? Also, this looks amazing. Hoping that other levels get remade as well

Emulators are specialized for the hardware you want to emulate, there isn't a one size fits all thing. There is one "emulator" named Retroarch which has a lot of things you can plug in to allow it to emulate anything, but generally an emulator plays one thing and one thing only. Dolphin is the best for emulating GameCube and Wii games (it may even be the only, I never heard of others) It's kind of unique that it can run two systems libraries, but that's because the Wii was basically two gamecubes taped together, which is why it was backwards compatible.

@@TetraBitGaming And now that you mention it, its quite odd that Nintendo didn't add Bob-ombs to Super Mario Odyssey. They are a staple to the Mario universe. But nah, we needed a Dark Souls looking dragon. XD
