If you can, ask them to grind the portion of the crankshaft where the rear oil seal runs. Yours is rough, as most are, and it will wear the rope seal pretty quickly, resulting in an oil drip at the flywheel end. Unfortunately, most machine shops don't have a grinding wheel narrow enough. But it's worthwhile, if they don't have one, to see if they can find another shop that can do this bit. I had a decades old leak there, despite fitting many rope seals, because it was rusted and pitted there. I found a machine shop that had a narrow wheel and since being done, have had absolutely not a drop of oil leak from the rear seal. It is usually pretty expensive, what with having to set up the wheel, but at any cost, it's REALLY worth having done. And it doesn't matter if they have to take a large amount off, the rope seal can compensate for the smaller diameter easily. I had 80 thou taken off before it cleaned up but I didn't pack the seal in as tightly as I usually did. It was still very tight, though.

There's Mahindra Roxor now. The legacy will live on for ever, it never stopped. Indian company Mahindra had licenced the Willy's jeep to build in India from 1947. It was made all these years in India and people used to buy them . Now they are expanding in asia , europe and now in America They kept the legacy live all these years .

PRO LIFE Roxor is cool but to many small changes to really interchange parts (as far as I can tell). Plus, not street legal. The Roxor is it’s own animal, shaped like a Jeep. It is cool that the rights were purchased and the Willy’s brand continued overseas. I wish FCA would work with them on getting something more “Jeep” street legal and selling side by side with their new SUV junk. It really is two different markets, let’s face it, people buying JLs, etc. are looking at other midsize suvs. The old 2A and CJ5 type stuff isn’t what the suv types are looking for.

0:30 ... Great shot! ... The old "line shafts" that used to power all the equipment are still in the ceiling! :) ...AND they are still using some of them!!!! So cool!! :) I never saw it myself, but a workmate told me, about a shop in Toronto back in the 1980's that STLL used the entire line shaft set up to run the vast majority of machines in the shop, even down to simple bench grinders! :)

I was watching a Guy Martin video last night where he was visiting an old guy I a machine shop. The Japanese gentleman was a Master Engineer specialising in machining cylinders. The feeling was that there was no one else there to take over once this guy stopped. So, I was happy to see your chosen machine shop had a young guy working there.

Mahindra Roxor is available as low as $16000 , i bought 2019 one and lifted it with a 3inch lift kit. Love the look of it 😍, im trying to make it road legal , will be over soon . They make very good tractors. The engine's got 62hp and 144nm torque but i have seen a video on KZread that it can do about 200hp with 400nm torque with the same engine. They have to detune the engine to meet the regulations. Its amazing. I'm planning on doing it on mine too, after putting enough miles on it. I would recommend every one to buy them, it costs not more than a mortarcycle or an ATV and you can look cool 😎. It's bear bones you can modify it as you like. Fiat is sueing them only for the grill and some body parts . As the case proceeds eventually Mahindra is going to win it as of now. Mahindra offers more jeep than Fiat fake ones. They are the only company to open a new plant in Detroit for over 23 years and they are planning to expand their designing hub to Detroit. They are providing jobs for Americans.I fell for it
