Holy crap those big ones are impressive! My favs were the Lama and of course the Huges 500's. Reminds me of Magnum PI!

Kudos and respect to the pilots. I had a brief fling with RC helis before returning to fixed wing for good. These were mightily impressive!

@Essential RC, When I went to 2019 Hobbyking Airmeet at EMCR Rozenburg, Netherlands, there also was this RC pilot who had a near exact same model in size of the Alouette, except that one was true Turboshaft powered. almost coulda fooled me into believing it was a real helicopter if I didn't stood next to it.
what kind of fuel are you running? or rather power source?
Sorry, as big and impressive as that model is, it is not a scale model without a pilot. Just my opinion. Still enjoyed watching it. Thanks for the content, Dom.

Thats got to be a serious battery and a dang 20 horsepower E-motor in that first heli wow ! I agree with the dude above it needs a pilot in the cockpit that would be a very cool addition however I still really enjoyed it! I love RC stuff thats one reason my wife left me after 8 years of marriage! That and I love Jesus the most! 🤷♂️ oh well Braapity brap brap I say 😂
man, some of these clips are old. One of those had a 35mhz flag on...

@EssentialRC ah, someone's just still using 35mhz then lol, or just hasn't taken the flag off the TX antenna 😀

The Red Lama @32:00 is mine. Yes, it is still on 35Mhz. It is also still nitro powered. I have more than twenty helis and fixed wing aircraft, each with their own receiver and motor. Upgrading everything to 2.4Ghz and/or electric power is not cheap. And if it ain't broke...
