Hello everyone and welcome to another video from Heavy Mining Equipment. Today, you'll see two world giants in the mining and construction industry, the Komatsu PC4000 and Volvo EC950E excavators, loading the Chinese giant XCMG XDE260 and XDE150 dump trucks. Which is more efficient, a face shovel or a backhoe excavator? I must mention that the XDE260 has a capacity of 260 tons, while the XDE150 has a capacity of 150 tons.

You could’ve filled that truck in way less time if you’d just fill the bucket
No fair comparison, the komatsu is much larger & more powerful

You shot that all to nothing! I didn't see a dozen rocks that wouldn't go through the grizzy on a jaw feeder. Would be some good digging. CHEERS, Pal! Where's the rest of it?

Looking at loading time on the video took pc 4000 5.10 and the 950 5 minutes something wrong here 😂 great video tho Looking forward to the next one

Komatsy loading biger truck 230 tons and volvo loading same truck but smaller version of that truck ho have capacity 130 tons that

Thanks for the comment, pal. Well, actually, Komatsu loads a 260-ton truck while Volvo loads a 150-ton capacity truck, which is almost the same shit 🤣 cheers

ya never been impressed by most face shovels. 8 buckets and never a full one. the cat 6015 is way faster and the cat 395 could easily out pace this slug!

that 4000 was digging some poor material, flowing like water..... the volvo was doing well, good buckets, see the counter climb.. much better earth to heap.

I dont like face shovels their more like a loader on tracks to me
