Finally, a Nitecore light! They make the best (and coolest/ most aesthetically pleasing) lights out there and yet they seem to be seldom mentioned or scoffed at. Once I bought the P12GT in 2016, I fell in love with flashlights and that's still my fave EDC to date. That and the TM26GT are my favorite lights ever. (Currently running the MH12SE due to the P12 dying). Of their more recent offerings, the Tini2 is one of the most mindblowing (and useful) lights I've ever witnessed. It's incredible how much output it has at such a tiny size, and when you factor in the OLED display with all the info, it really is one of the coolest lights they've made to date. I got the TM39 and though I was blown away by it and really liked it, I wish they'd make an updated version of the TM26GT using 21700 cells, the new updated OLED display, improved LEDs, etc. The form factor and size to power ratio was just perfect. It really was fitting of the "Tiny Monster" name, whereas the newer one is definitely a MONSTER, and compared to something like the BLF GT it might be considered tiny, but that's a low bar. It should just be on the regular category of search lights. I know you can use the tube from the TM26 and have the TM39 Lite but that doesn't count because it's an awkward form factor and doesn't hold a candle to the TM26GT's design. Don't get me wrong, I love the thing all around and think it looks badass, but tiny it is not. That Tiki though... that's another one that surprised me and I loved it and use it a lot.

I wish the P30i and other lights had the OLED screen like these. I have 2 of the P35i and they are awesome lights. You can swap out batteries and they take the same as my P23i and SRT7i and all of the i series. I don’t gripe over the proprietary batteries. A company knows what circuitry in their batteries works best with their lights. I just buy spares and date them with a sharpie marker. Dewalt and the tool market is the same way. The LEP is pretty cool and with the flood it makes and excellent search light. I do wish strobe was an option without using the tail cable and I wish the front bezel was a little thicker/deeper to withstand impacts if I were to drop it. This light can be mounted with a 1” weapon mount ring which nitecore also has several options. Another overlooked plus but most won’t put this on a rifle. A wind turbine tech had me shine the lep on a turbines blades so he could inspect them after a storm. He couldn’t believe a handheld light could light that far and immediately asked where he could get one. This is the ultimate do all toy from nitecore in my opinion. A longer shaft with added runtime would be nice. A searchlight running off of a power bank would be awesome too. The NPB4 is an awesome power bank.

Great review as always LW, but it would have been nice to show the CCT/DUV and maybe CRI. A quick table with brightness/runtime for each mode (or at least the claimed runtimes) would be useful to include.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll start including tables instead of just the graphs. As for CCT/DuV, I'm working on finding a way to include that information but don't have any accurate way to measure those, I'll probably just put titles with the temp and claimed CRI for now

@@ethan-lumencraft- I use an Opple Lightmaster 3, it isn’t a Sekonic but it works far better than a camera with their susceptibility to overcompensating in auto white balance and can also give an (approximate) CRI reading. It’s around $30 for one, and they’re pretty popular on BLF and reddit.

Expensive and too fancy for a single cell (short runtime, 20% less efficient linear driver v. Buck switching driver). The, price, runtime and weight to usefulness ratio is not likely favorable. In the video you are jittery with the lasers and don't zoom the camera to properly get a feel for the throw usefulness. To me it looked, from the video, like a bouncy ball of light too small to properly hit and read a full sign at 500 yards. Naturally, I am wrong, else the company would not be selling the light. But I am left wanting a better demonstration of the possibilities that such a focused throw could offer and how it compares with other non laser solutions to throw. Probably, the camera and the light would need to be on fixed stands so that the camera can zoom too. Although, in real life, throw can also out perform 20/20 vision, making it only useful with a set of binoculars, which presents an alignment difficulty, which could be solved by mounting the lasers onto the binoculars or telescope.
