Good idea, but even better if it was in VR. Imagine playing the kitchen scene from the first movie with the Velociraptors. If you die, from a bit to the head or neck, they could even make it so that the headset vibrates. But I’m getting way ahead of myself lol

Comment wasn't about attention so much as letting anyone who cared to read it know that yep, t-rex could see just fine without the need for jumping jacks. Was yours for attention?

Now, I for one don't think this developer is going to make a "whole game" with releases like this. I mean, in all honesty, every release they've made, including this one, SEEMS to be a tech demo of sorts. To me, given their past works, they might make a game that's like a "vignette pack". Certain scenes from all the movies (and maybe some original scenarios featuring the dinos/locations) all compiled together in a minigame sort of way, that places YOU in the role of survival. I mean, we already have the raptors in the kitchen, and the t-rex breakout. I can see all KINDS of iconic, terrifying scenes from ALL the films being represented and given fun and unique mechanics. Nedry and the Dilophosaur, the Don't go into the Long Grass scene, the Spinosaur's attack on the plane, the Indominus Rex's escape scene. The possibilities are ENDLESS. With this dev making the Rex in this demo FROM SCRATCH in less than a month, editing in the iconic sound effects incredibly skillfully, and NAILING the atmosphere dead on, they've proven they are amazingly capable, and inspired by the films. I wish this creator the BEST of luck, and hope to see more (and hopefully polished) little demos like this! Now, I could be wrong about the whole "vignette pack" thing, but I think it's a cool idea regardless!

DANCER9op the book gave a solid reasoning for that. She's not a T. rex. She's a hybrid with only a majority of dinosaur dna. She's not "perfect". Her frog dna corrupted a few things such as the (arguable) presence of feathers (or lack thereof) and her eyesight. Just as with the Velociraptors lacking their feathers and being so gosh darn huge. (Although that last one was explained that Wu Had no actual knowledge of dinosaurs and just called them as he deemed fit or until they were corrected later in some renditions and therefor might not have in universe been raptors ever. It just sounded cool for an attraction)

Just imagine, alien isolation but in a dense jungle with decaying old theme park buildings as cover and resource locations with a 30ft tall T-rex looking for you. Popping his head out of bushes at any moment, the slow increasing rhythm of his stomping feet getting closer but out of sight. The pouring heavy rain obstructing your vision and messing with your hearing. Could that be the sound of it in the bushes? No, its just the rain. It has to be! Its so big you can't outrun it, you just have to play it smart and know your quick escape routs. You have a flashlight to light your way, but us it at your own risk. The shapes and shadows of tropical trees blowing in the stormy breeze look an awful lot like the head of a rex. No weapons, maybe a flairgun at most. If the atmosphere is correct, just like this video, and the ai and gameplay are gripping and unpredictable like A:Isolation than you have yourself a winner we are looking for.

To get supplies or an important weapon or lever... So... You KNOW its there... Gah... and maybe, just maybe you can avoid it... And you can... If you are very careful... Until that cutscene where you trip...

You are right about how it hunted but it had great eye sight. They had 3D vision and can see up to 6 kilometers (3.7 Miles).

@sgt dornan sorry that I didn't clarify but t rex was actually able to see 6.2 kilometers away in detail compared to humans 1.8 kilometers of eye sight this was proven during a reconstruction of t Rex's head showing how big and strong t Rex's eyes are
