    If you live up north in Minnesota. The Great Lakes are a great place to net. Especially right now where they come out by the shores. From today, you probably have a week or two left before the season is over.

The radioactive spread few hundred kilometres thru radioactive clouds to the sea and nearby countries. if u have a tiny pee brain, stop making offensive comments, it will reflect badly on you.

    @@lm2193 but that radiation has dissipated and now moot were as the pillaging of resources is permanent when done in an unsustainable fashion. All races specialize in destroying nature to the extreme. Whites blacks yellow does not matter. This applies to Oil, Water, Trees as well all over-harvested and harvested too quickly

    Alot of people never heard of smelt fishing,I live in Texas now! When I went smelt fishing 18 & 19 in Toronto.It was always at night,I thought there might be a law,you can only go fishing at night. I come late from work an cook me up some smelt it was graet.

    @@ARCSTREAMS I went with my dad, he kind of never told where he was going, but it was just a jump over, nice beach at night is what I remember. I have more respect with people I can tell where and when.

    My Dad treat most people like trash, when I went to Texas, I might call once every 3 years. I would have like to talk to him about the places, if he knew , how to treat people with common respect. I live in Texas 40 years.

    @@nighthiker8872 you made it sound like you smelted yourself after work , i had many trips with my dad when i was younger too and i wish i can remember where most of them where,hard finding anywhere to fish outside toronto these days as all is private land and assholes all around and no parking etc etc

    You can go anywhere but it has to be a creek or river conected to Lake Huron or supoirer

    Never thought you could get them during the day, The guide to eating sport fish doesn't recommend eating smelt from there. I used to go to Lake simcoe but the run is dead now
