That’s my thinning too. I would love one to shop local for food but there’s no protection for our cars or bikes or any belongings. The govt and police have just decided they don’t care. 🤷‍♀️

HI, I have had my bike for two months now and would like to add the following. 1/ This is a VERY heavy bike, fit the throttle as its great to get the bike moving before you start to pedal especially on hills. 2/ This bike is fantastic at climbing hills 3/ This is a heavy bike and on a down hill section when free wheeling its picks up speed VERY quickly, i have a area near me and this will hit 30mph in no time, quite scary. 3/ The let down for me with this bike is the tyres they are quite thin and you get punctures very easily. I am looking at either trying to change the tires or getting tyre lines. 4/ This bike has 2 speeds stopped and 15mph, it gets from stopped to 15mph very quickly. All in its a great bike to ride though it takes a while to get used to riding a fat tyre bike

Deff needs mudguards on for the Winter when the roads get grotty. Those large studded tyres fling up the spray really well.. looks pretty bombproof build wise.

Cracking bit of kit Martin definitely needs mudguards in my opinion 👍🏻👍🏻. Please put Camp on it 😂😂

One of the best reviews I’ve seen on e-bikes. They seem to be getting popular, but the cost outlay would be a worry if you had to chain it up anywhere to go shopping. I guess people just use them for healthy rides to keep fit and then lock it away in a garage.

That was a great review. We wouldn't expect anything less as your kitchen gadget reviews are always in-depth and honest.

Just don't leave it on charge in your house, my friend had one, it caught fire, not sure the brand, wasn't this one, but ended up having to move out till the damage was repaired in their kitchen. X

In Canada here heard of electric cars catching fire , people advised not to store inside an attached garage for insurance coverage. I've long thought of electric bikes for those that are past the age of being capable of getting fit, old age or just lazy.I see young people on them and wonder why? Reconsidering now, I suppose it's simply for getting somewhere quicker, and possibly cheaper than other methods and input from self is minimal. As a 67 year old, I still bike but this would be good for hills. Great review.

They are very similar but the Cyrusher comes with mudguards.

I'd love something like this but at £1500 I'll have to keep using the bus. Great review and ebike though

Crumbs that looks like it could soon run away with you, bit to a speedy for me I am afraid hehe. Nice bike however. I have seen some around the town here, and the folks riding them fly everywhere, I think at times they look dangerous , or could be in the wrong so I feel they need to be in the right person for safety. I am talking about people riding these on footpaths then swinging into the road in front of you driving. I am sure you have seen these people yourself Martin.

The hub and gears are 2 different things.

Hi martin and sharon lovely bike martin the only trouble id have to have stabilisers on my bike as I've never learnt to ride a bike as a kid I never was interested in a bike or scooter give me as a child a dolls pram and I was happy one day my brother took the wheels off my pram and was going to make acart but the only trouble they never had a long piece of wood and that eas the end of that and they never put the wheels on the dolls pram love fran xxx

I want to know why none of these e bike people make a tandem version or what about a three wheeled version with a basket on it for going shopping both brilliant ideas.

there is such a thing as an electric three wheeler. I looked at one last year. Downsides are the weight and very restricted speed so they dont tip on bends. I was looking at one as an alternative to a mobility scooter. I can still just about manage a bike but not without power assist

1500 your kidding cheaper on market with more reviews look at cyrusher a lot better specs

I'm very surprised the ebike did not come fully made up. As a woman I would have had no idea how to put the bike together , or how to check it is safe to ride, even with the manual.

If you don't have the skills to assemble it yourself then you could get a local bike shop to do it.

Save you going to the gym but I think it is an ugly bike

Hmm, transport to the Ragged Apron, refuel and return home. But you will need a set of mudguards... 👀🥹
