wtf did it work 4 u because when i downloaded the file it was just the file and not the folder with the pictures wtf if it worked for u can u send me a link to the folder?

Love the video! Very quick and to the point. I'm a new user of OBS and have been wanting to figure out how to change my webcam shape (so thanks!). The problem I'm having is. I'm using OBS to teach so I need scenes where I'm fullscreen and separate scenes where I'm just a face in the corner of the screen. When I added this filter to the scene I that want to be in the corner, the filter was also applied to the scene where I want to remain fullscreen (so in that scene my face was a big circle in the middle. How do I apply this filter to one scene without affecting the other? Really hope you can help. Thanks!

Here is a tip. If you create a new scene with only the camera and the overlay you can then add that scene to another scene. This is useful for positioning it and adding extra filter on both at the same time.

If I create a new scene with only the camera and I remove the overlay, then the overlay is removed from another scene as well? So I am not sure how to fix that?

Only problem I am having is making the circle capture overlay or mix into the scene or background as a circle NOT a circle inside of a black square? I don't know how to get rid of the black square.

How do I change the color?

I tried something like this but what's happening is my cam is a circle but then outside of the circle it's a black square 🤯 how do I get the black square gone and just have the circle??? I tried mask blend I tried green background nothing is working

When I try this, it downloads it as a .rar, not .png. I tried to change the file type myself, also tried downloading it as "All Files" instead of .rar but it still doesn't work. I am hoping you can help!

download winzip or the equivalent on mac so you can unzip the file (I had to figure that out lol)

Make sure to remember to put the web cam source into a scene and then apply the filter to that scene, then add the scene. Otherwise whatever you do to your camera will carry over to every other instance of your camera and OBS doesn't allow multiple sources to point to the same device.

@@Glanzern Thanks for commenting on this! I just submitted a question to @CasualSavage in hopes of a response. In reading your response, I'm not totally clear. I'm using OBS to teach. I have a scene with two sources, one source for the webcam and the other source for a window capture. If I apply the filter to the scene that contains the webcam and the window sources, wouldn't they both end up within the circle/filter? I'm trying to create different scenes: fullscreen webcam, webcam with a round filter on top of a window capture. How would I do that? I do hope someone is able to help with this. Thanks!

@@melissaw7 Right. So what you'd want to do is actually create a different scene entirely called Webcam or whatever. And then delete the Webcam source from your other scene. Apply your filter to the webCam scene that you just created. And then go back to the other scene and instead of adding a video capture source, you can actually add your webCam scene to that one. Then you could have webCam2 scene with a different filter or just the video capture source itself would be unadulterated from the original filter. Did that make sense?
