Many years ago, my older brother stuck several dozen popsicle stick spring-things together into a rough sphere and handed it to me. Being 5 and never having seen the spring-things before, I thought it was the coolest thing ever, until it was actually in my hands and exploded rather violently in my face, pelting me with flying popsicle sticks. We suffered a lot of trust issues for a while after that, lol.

When I was a kid I was shown star-shaped kinetic bombs with the regular (small) popsicle sticks. Then throw them like grenades. If I remember rightly, take the shape from :50 and add two more sticks.

No. I can't discover yet another fascinating creator. There's only so many hours in the day to watch videos.

the door holding it down is a neat thing. i'm picturing this being held down by a gate with the stick chain going along a path through a backyard, garden, etc you could very lightly sprinkle dirt/dust/sand whatever the path is made of over it to hide it. then when someone opens the gate it would be as if they spooked a ghost as the chain would go off lifting a cloud of dust quickly along the path.

The good thing is that I can effortlessly enjoy watching it in this video and do not have to do it myself!
